OH GOD, it feels so good to finally get that first win. Something really nice with using mostly home grown talent and pulling one out.

Is that legal and according to GLB rules? I thought there was a cut off date where a team can't add anyone to their roster?

There's only a cut-off for when players can be cut or traded. The guys he's are probably people in D leagues or free agents.

but im not in a position to report it since our team doesnt play them unless they make it to the finals. if you think you have a legit beef, and i think you do, then i would report it

Right now banned players can still be used and traded like an inactive player. While what he did isn't exactly ethical, it is legal. The issue here is that there needs to be a buyer in this situation, so more than one person is at fault. If no one traded for these players then it would never have been a problem.

If you want to make a well-thought out and written suggestion in the suggestion board to prevent this sort of situation it could help.

yeah is scummy to try to trade players without saying they are banned, but unless youre a total idiot you would have figured that out in five seconds. so as long as its legal then theres not much you can do. the only problem i have with those players is that i suspect they were created via cross-referenced referrals so a lot of FP were gained by cheating making the players stronger to start with. in that case i would have preferring the players be erased instead of just left on the team where he could use them for leverage the way he has

the bigger issue by far is parity and these late season FA adds. its kinda ridiculous and seems easily more damaging than how richmond cheated to start the season, even if it is 'legal'. but so far the majority of members dont seem to care and dont want parity. i find it impossible to believe this wont hurt the site long term, as i personally see my own interest fading as i watch ringer after ringer parade onto the richmond squad. but maybe its going to take time for the membership as a whole to learn that lesson

I just checked the team. Most of these ringers are within the high average for players in this league. 12 - 15 th level with most around 13. Of course he is now 3 and 4 deep at each position. And as has been said he is finding trading partners or at this point just signing available FAs off the market and paying top dollar for them.

This makes it not fun to play GLB, sorry. I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way either.
