i think it's far more worth it to save 14 whole VAs and just make your chances 50/50. an additional 2% chance per VA is a complete waste IMO.

You're kidding right? You want a 50% chance to have all your attributes lowered by 5%? It would be better to have 0 points in streaky than 1 point.

obviously i'm aware that there's a 50% chance to have your attributes lowered by 5%. there's also a 50% chance to have them raised by 5%. i'm saying that i think WR is the type of position that could benefit from this, as just a little more separation on the good days can create huge plays for the team. spending another 14 VAs in this to raise the chances to 78% ( i think the previous poster's calculations are wrong) aren't worth it if there are other VAs that will help all the time.

If you're gonna use Streak you need to max it out, but I would stay away from it. There's plenty of other VAs that won't make your guy suck in some games.

Well...i'm giving it a try since we can now reset our VA's again. I also have 1 VA in slow start, 5 in awe inspiring and 5 in underdog. I'll keep you guys updated.

i really think streaky needs to be an all-or-nothing type thing, it could be cool but i honestly don't see it being worth the points.

just to correct this statement, 15 into streaky is actually 78 or 80% (not sure exactly based on the wording) of having a +5% bonus....

Thanks for the correction. If this is correct then streaky is work it IMO. If I can get a boost 80% of the time then that combined with slow starter which will give me another 5% boost later in the game it definitely is worth it. What do you guys think?

It needs to be something that your WRs do as a unit, and its essential that they all get to 15. That way there will always be someone to step up and have a big game. You also need a fair amount of depth and talent for it to work. Obviously not the best idea for every team.

The 5% bonus isn't worth it IMHO.

got a question...awe inspiring- "This player inspires awe in younger players. Each level of Awe Inspiring gives a +5% chance to cause a -20% vision penalty to less famous defenders who line up to cover him man to man." i dont get,does it onli helps people with a higher fame point and going against a lower fame point defender or does it work if you wide receiver is like the topz in receiving yards/receptions and going against a sucky defender?

if your receiver has a higher fame # than the player defending him man to man, then you cause a -20% vision penalty if it kicks in.

so since it kind of looks like i have the tops fame in my league is it good to invest in it???

yes, Awe Inspiring and Underdog are valuable for WRs at the far ends of the fame spectrum. You can check out the CBs in your league to see how you compare. If you have fame that is higher than most of them, Awe Inspiring can be a very good value.

thanks alot...1 last question..if the vision gets low for the defender wat happenz?? it makes them reach slower or something??

It makes it easier for the WR to fake out the defender and easier for the QB to pump fake the defender, also I think the "s" key on your keyboard iz broken.
