No one was complaining about your rankings, though it obviously is flawed so some people like myself tried to give criticism and advice on how possibly to improve it but it was only taken as "complaining" and ignored. No one was insulting you for having a flawed system, there's no way to spit out a perfected formula on the first try, these types of things take a bit of trial and error. Waiting untill it's flooded with data will spit out better results in the end, but you could have created a formula that'd give more competent results from the first game on based on the data it was given. It would have been nice had you been more open to adjustments, but it's your formula do with it what you will. It's all in fun anyways.
My thing is this its the preseason so why try to make adjustments. What I have planned on doing is using season standings to have an affect along with previous weeks rank. This should help keep teams from flying around. But I just cant bring myself to count the first to preseason games cause there pointless. I know myself and others purposely ran strange plays just to see what works. So why count those wins.... I think the newest edition is showing that they are starting to work out. I see many of the top teams at the top. Only the middle is off due the first two preseason games. Now if this league stayed together for years kinda like the NFL we wouldnt have to worry about this problem. But with all new teams in the fold it is very difficult to judge the formula when it has no clue who is what. If for some reason where still together next season youll see how well it is. I promise the formula is awesome.
