In real life I'm a VERY nice person, but on here, there are so many fakers and jerks and exploiters, and I don't mind losing a little face to try and help them learn that their actions are going to get met with force when I spot it so that maybe one day in the future the next guy doesn't follow in the same footsteps.

So from a quantity standpoint I can see how some people think that makes me a prick with so many of my posts having to combat this garbage, but I don't look at it that way, I'm always striving to do the right thing, and that's to squash these type of posters whenever I spot them surfacing.

Objectively speaking, I've had PM exchanges with CV and some other MEM guys and always found them to be pretty cool guys. On the other hand, you consistently come across as a self-righteous banner-waving bastion of justice fighting against the evil hordes ... on an internet dotgame forum.

Ever considered not taking dotgame so seriously? If MEM guys hold up signs that say "TSE is a douchebag" and I see you acting like a douchebag .. I'm pretty much left with the opinion that with regards to TSE, the MEM guys are right.

Quit acting like you are a better dotteam owner than everyone else. Drop the "exploit" shtick. We're all playing the same damn game. Just because you choose a different route doesn't give you the "authority" to speak down to anyone else who chooses a different route within the dotgame.

I've wasted enough of my life trying to explain why people don't like you. When we moved up to USAPL in Season 8, I didn't have an opinion on MEM or DDL. From my personal (and disinterested) observations, you are losing the perception war because you fan the flames.

I understand your points Ddingo, I'm not posting for your individual benefit or mine, or to make you like me. I'm just trying to contribute in any way that I can to fend off people who act like internet jerks, for the benefit of the overall population, whether I get recognition or gratitude, or alternatively if I get flak in return, I do not care, I act the way I do for the community as a whole and feel as though I'm taking one for the team. If nobody stands up to the deplorable posters, then they grow at a faster and more pronounced rate. I'm just trying to curb that growth any small way that I can and I hope others do the same in the future.
