Lemme fill you in on something, in GLB you can bring in players to your team at any time until the playoff freeze. Just because you guys got your ass handed to you in the playoffs, you figure you need to PM support and cry about your inadequacies until they grow tired of you and finally move you?
It is what it is, you guys cried your way to Pro.
Well, first off, I've never smoked anything in my life, not even a cigarette... So, that theory is out the window.
For anyone that cares and since BKK is in here blowing shit when they really should be trying to prevent their inevitable fuckup in AAA in Season 9, I'll briefly cover how we got here:
My team, the Buffalo Rampage, went 16-0 in Season 8, beating BKK in the season finale by 20 points. BKK finished 12-4
Following the final regular season game, one of their GM's (http://goallineblitz.com/game/home.pl?user_id=38151) signs 2 players to BKK for the playoff run. As I understood the rules, playoff teams were not allowed to sign players after the regular season was over, which is exactly what happened. However, the game programming allowed it, which is all well and good, but I highly doubt that Bort and the GLB higher-ups intended for the FA system to be used this way by playoff teams after their regular season had ended. The players in question are:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=297575
Looking at their gamelogs for season 8, you can see that both players played on a different team for all 16 games of the regular season, THEN were added to the BKK roster. In short, neither player played a down for BKK during the regular season.
So, BKK goes on to beat Laos in round 1, Buffalo in round 2 (where the RB above scores 4 TD's), before pissing down their leg in round three against Anchorage. I send a PM to support regarding the players in question, because, in my opinion, players should not be allowed to play on a team in the playoffs if they didn't play at least 1 game during the regular season. The reply I get agrees with my opinion and states "Thankfully this team was not able to win a championship."
So now, the karma bug has bit them in the ass and they aren't happy about it. They think that, not only was there nothing unethical about the move, they also feel they should be rewarded for it.
Apparently GLB thinks differently. As I said before, have fun in AAA next season... After all, "It is what it is," you know...
