But he didn't.

Honestly, if you want to base it on what could've been, ignoring team strength completely, you would have a totally different lineup than what you originally believed.

Jerry Gonzalez had more touchdowns, more receptions, higher yardage averages in both rushing and YPC, and less fumbles.

And no offense, but your line was way more dominant then ours until about mid season when we came into our own....I would like to see that stat from like game 8 or 9 til now.

Also I got the stats for rushing from your game with Hoku, and ours with them.

Gonzales 22 carries 77yds 1td 3.5 average per carry
Charles 26 carries 119yds 2tds 4.6 average per carry

Very close but Charles has the better average.

They are both very good backs, but I just believe Charles is better.

I just wanted to say that your post was the most accurate and had the least bias. Darth Malak my Guard who is I believe 4th in pancakes and my TE Trosen destroyed all the TEs this season and no one else even mentioned them. Thanks for the love!

I wish their was a way to sort by tackles for loss, I think my DT Vince Bigfork is underrated, he has 24 TFL out of 53 tackles. So far the only person Ive seen with more TFL is my teammate Jim Weis.

I'd argue that hes only played the last 8 games and this brings biased stats to the list. Would be interesting to see how the other punters have done in the last 8 games. Also the fact that punters on better teams will be placing more kicks rather than power so will get lower averages.

For arguments sake, my guy and the other top 16 game punter

Sam Duckworth-Team 12-4
First 8-27.31yds average
Second 8-29.96yds average

Matthew Sims-Team 7-9

First 8-25.07yds average
Second 8-29.93yds average

Both very similar to your guys stats in that second half.

Reggie Roby also a top punter, has a very low average because hes always making placed kicks from fairly close and thus gets a low average.

Would argue your punters stats are inflated hugely by two games in which your team got blown out by large margins in a smaller batch of figures. Otherwise your punter is very much in there with all the other punters in the league.

Almost wish there was a touchback stat in this game, as we could tell the best punter by the one with the least touchbacks on a good team. (i.e. fewest overhit punts when locking opponents inside their 20_.

I'm happy with how it turned out, the Elves that made it deserved to be there.

It's good to see Beatle Bailey get credit, he never got as many plays as the other players on the Elves and other teams, but performed extremely well.

Two players up for Anchorage, not bad though not the players I expected to make the list. Maybe a case of a slight favouring of stats over ability but pretty well balanced.

yeah TTD i thought so too, but if your skilled and you dont preform well the people tend to shun you.

Except punters: You dont want to be the All 13 punter because it means your team has a lack luster Offense and is calling your number alot, hell the guy who made the team was 2nd best in my book 110 punts 27.4 avg. Ka boom had one more punt witha 28 yrd avg.

Meh.. whatever i am glad people voted.

Agreed, but then i'd have had neither of those punters anywhere near my top 5 punters as they are nothing but average stats-wise on truly awful teams (and yes I know we lost to the Blaze ). Didn't realise this was for today either so didn't vote so interested where you got the votes from?
