Ok, I will side with 'sea-salt' on this one.

Depends on how you want to play. You can take the easy route and only run 2-3 plays which will by the numbers, give you consistent yardage regardless of the defense run against it. The other option is to mix it up a bit, putting in minimal risk for potentially greater rewards.

Contrary to popular belief, I actually have like 20-25 plays in my AI to run and I cycle them through based on the weakest aspect of an opponent. For some games (i.e. blowouts) it isn't even worth the time to scout, so your AI base should be at least good enough to plough over these types of teams. Probably why I don't rack up 255-0 wins; it just isn't worth the time involved.

Now for GLB, personally the peewees are a boatload of fun. Everyone starts from a level playing field so for that it allows us to find the 'pure essence' of the game. Quite a bit of what I learn from the peewees I incorporate into my other teams player builds as we get to see on a smaller scale what works and what doesn't. Beats listening to the lemming crowd in the main forums.

And yes, I will be nice from now on. Had some time to abuse people last season (there is nothing more enjoyable than making the weak crack like twigs in an ice storm) but no time now.

But is it really fun to make a team and run to the right all the time? That is like the tards that play madden football and run the same 2 or 3 plays over and over becasue they have no ability to do anything else.. ooo i can get a trophy for running to the right all the time!! I have skillz

sorry had to vent after watching the game one of my players are on.. just so fing pointless

You do realize it's incredibly easy to create a defensive AI when a team only runs 2 or 3 plays right? If you do any scouting you can shut those teams down pretty easy.

Then how come nobody has shut down Es Poh?

B/c the teams you play against don't know how to stop a WR screen. Most good teams know how to stop that play. Just a matter of scouting and AI.

I watched a game where someone was set up to stop the wr screen.. LOL so in 3WR sets they just ran to the right every fing play.. over and over and over and over.. just rotated 3 HB's every play.. was pretty funny.. Yet very very boring...

Rushing... And pretty much every run was to the right. I know your not going by it says rush middle when you see the guy running to the outside oh yeah to the right. With wr screens and half back screens another lame play. Again three plays but pretty much they won by running to the right with the qb or hb. You have bit proven anything. Again if it's so easy to stop why does every undefeated team run to the right all the time. Again don't say they run middle off tackle to the right is running to the right even though the game says it's the middle.

If this is true, then there is no real up the middle running plays. 99% of running plays up the middle go off tackle either left or right. A running play to the right is a counter or a sweep something like that.

But owning a casual team and putting down peewee team owners is stupid... some of these peewee teams could beat your casual team.

Very good point. He is sitting here complaing about the pee wee leagues and how there is no gameplanning and it is "cheating" for a title, but the team he owns is a casual team where there is no.......What is the word I am looking for.............Oh yeah, gameplanning. Just a simple AI where you set basic percentages, but cannot set up any situationals or anything remotely close to gameplanning. Man the irony in that fact is astounding.
