Whats so crazy about 55 carries? I remember Chris Perry for Michigan getting 50 vs Michigan State a few years ago. Doesn't happen that often but its not exactly an impossible feat

i say let the power backs have there "power"

however .... every hit a back takes in "Real" life is one more towards the end of his playing days ..

that being said ... i feel that after X amount of broken tackles should = chance to fumble goes up X% ...

this would discourage a offense that is only based on the power running game .. and force them to pursue other plays in order to "Take the load" off of there power back ...

I guess if you want to look at it compared to real football, someone getting that many carries would be hurting, fatigued, and will not last long.

Your example is a perfect example of what happens when you get a lot of carries. Chris Perry has been injured more games than he has seen in the nfl. LC is a beast of a powerback, but if real nfl examples and shit are gonna be brought up in the discussion, then his player would be doing shit in the second half of games. he would be tired, possibly injured, or would start to cough the ball up or his ypc would drop.
