Why not? No-one's saying that jumping is useless and the Swatt Ball SA definitely isn't useless.

Well Viscount, I have one of my attributes Capped. Can you tell me which one that is?

Just by your INTs I'd assume catching.

Nope, its jumping. However, to add to the discussion I would say you really cant go wrong with either one, as they both help your CB in making sure the wideout doesnt get the ball

NO if he had catching capped he would have a lot more than 3 int's, because he would have at least gotten 2-3 in the 111- whatever blow out.

It's not just the amount they have, using the scout script they also have deflected or intercepted a higher percentage of their passes than the other CB Anubis. So far Ba'al has deflected or intercepted 70% of his passes.

Yeah well they are all playing on medium coverage too. so they give up some passes. But it's all for the good of the experiment.

Interesting, but how can you base your results off playing medium where in actual seriousness everyone plays close?
Or are you saying that medium with high catching is the way we should play instead?
It seems that a study of jumping vs catching should have the CBs playing what they normally would.

Playing on medium simply gives more data to work with for the experiments. Its no good trying to evaluate the difference between the two if you only get 5 passes per game

This.

my corners have been slow building in this league for, this is the third season now. I doubt any wide receiver in this league would get thrown to If I set it to close coverage.

ironically, I feel that medium/aggressive provides better coverage than close/aggressive... because of all the caused PD's and Interceptions.

Heh, that is ironic. More passes to your guy are in vain no matter what even though the WR looks open, so that's more downs that are wasted by the QB.

No cause they will also catch more passes. If you have a whole team of well built close/semiagressive CBs then the QB has no choice but to throw picks to some1.

Hey Viscount -

You would have loved to roll the piece of AEQ that I found with my lvl 47 CB - +3 Vision +1 Sticky Hands

It's been upgraded a few times by now, and is +2 Speed +4 Vision +2 Sticky Hands, and will be +3 Sticky with the next upgrade.

I do agree with your theory about Catching, but there is one problem with it. I'm pretty sure that when the QB is looking for a WR to throw the ball to, he tends to shy away from the CBs with higher catching/jumping/sticky hands, because he deems them a higher risk than the other CBs. I'm pretty sure that this is the case, as my team in SA Pro has something like that going on.
