No dude your an idiot, somebody makes a thread about who should be an all-star and it creates a good conversation about who everybody thinks should be an all-star. I think everyone who ever posted in this forum appreciated it being here and appreciated the opportunity to share the good things that their player and players on their teams accomplished. Also who else would plead the case for somebody to be an all-star then the owner of their team. You decided to do a cool thing and create an all-star team which is great but somehow you now think you are the ruler of the damn league or something so go fuck yourself.

I have a serious problem with this statement and hope that is not the criteria you use for all players because with that type of thinking you should just nominate Monarchs and Woodridge players. A players season should not be discounted because his team has not done well. Raekwon now has 108 tackles and only 3 misses, 4 int's and 2 FF. He is somehow lodged at the top of the league in tackles between a mass of LB's and a CPU safety somehow (Kansas Jayhawks) As coach of the Knights I want to stress that the players on my team who stuck with this organization during our turmoil in the beginning of the season should not be punished because the team is on a rebuilding season. He was without a doubt one of the strongest corners in the league this season so do not penalize him because our offense could not stay on the field.

I have to disagree with your statement. The number of plays or opportunity to make plays should be a factor in determining an all star. Not the only factor, but definatly must carry some significant weight. (I have not, but did you look at his percentage of int vs number of snaps?) If snaps played isn't part of the grading scale then you would have the opposite side of your scenario and all of the Best teams offensive players would be up and all the the worst teams defenses would be nominated. As far number of tackles I can see the disputes, but the Baron CB used as an example can justify why a CB(who shouldn't have that many tackles) is stuck with LBs....at least I hope so because Baron is my player Finally, I am 100% certain he was not saying to penalize your players or your team in a rebuilding year. How do I know because he joined a team last season that was the 2nd worst in the league and helped it through a rebuilding push. I commend your team and your players who have stuck through the changes, we know all too well what that is like as it was us last season. If you need anything at all you have a good group of guys in this league who I am sure would be willing to help, myself included.

Conceited much?? Yeah you do Mid-Season and Final All-Star teams for Zeta, but not Alpha. Last season it was Horrorshow who did the Alpha All-Star team and if I remember correctly there where some Zetas bitching about no one doing an All-Star team for them. So congrats on stepping up and doing the Zeta All-Stars. Like I said before if Horrorshow or anyone else wanted to do an Alpha All-Star team again then there are some Alpha players who posted in this that they can keep an eye on.

Yes you announced that you were making a All-Star team only for Zeta but I guess I missed the part where that all of a sudden ment that anyone who posted in this forum was automatically talking to you. It might be because I'm an "idiot" or most likly because people still want to get their player(s)'s name out there for the Alpha conference. I don't really care if "over half of them were posting their nominations just for [you]" that still leaves 49% that were not posting their nominations for you. If you read the first post by Sexual Chocolate it reads "We're half way through the season.. make your arguement why you should be an All-Star if the season ended today." No where in there does it say anything about Zeta players only.

Basically what I am saying is anyone has the right to post in here it never said Zeta only. Its not like I posted this on your precious Mid-Season All-Star (Zeta) thread. So STFU and get over yourself.

It is not my criteria, but I do think it should be considered. I probably would have Raekwon Jackson in my own personal all-star selection. But if a CB on a defense that is out there half as long Glastonbury's is, and that CB has half the stats Raekwon Jackson does, his accomplishments are equal in my eyes. If Raekwon Jackson was out there half the time he is, he'd still have great numbers compared to other CBs in this league and would still be on my all-star list.

All that I am asking for is a fair shot for my players, I understand that because our defense is on the field so much they will have more stats however I am certain that both Porky and woathuff do realize that there is fatigue in this game. My defensive starters are probably getting the same amount of time as most other players. Please do not all jump down my throat if I am wrong but my GM has my energy tactics set so that we get our backups reps so we can grow as a team. There is more to determining an all-star then stats alone trust me I know. I was voted as an All-state Wide Receiver in High School but had the 4th most receiving yards in my county however teams recognized that my school ran a wing-T offense which did not give a receiver many opportunities to compile nice stats. On the flip side of that argument a QB that comes in and throws a touchdown on his only play is going to have a perfect QB rating but does not deserve to be an ALL-star. I hope that if Horroshow does another all-star team this year reads this thread to get peoples opinion on who should be an all-star.

I should've posted a before. we're not criticizing, just defending how coreyls 18 made his picks. And sorry, "the other CB playing half the game" was a bad example b/c you're right, there isn't a big difference in how many plays Raekwon is in compared to others on your team, or other CBs in the league for that matter. But I do think team success is something to consider when choosing allstars, just a personal opinion. Like I said before, if I made the list Raekwon would likely be on it.

I am criticizing how he said he doesn't go by people's nominations and he doesn't care about Alpha players. All I'm trying to say is that it is good for him that he has his system but people are not just posting in this forum for him to read. If you read his post at the bottom of page four and top of page five he comes across like he is the only one capable of selecting an All-Star team. Again, I have no quarrel with his selection process my problem is his attitude toward people trying to get their player's names out there to anyone else who wants to make an All-Star list. Just because he said he was making a list does not mean every post in here was just for him there will be other list at the end of the season I promise you that and I'm sure whoever makes one will look in here for players to potentially make their All-Star team. Especially because he said he IS ONLY DOING ZETA and THERE IS STILL THE ALPHA CONFERENCE and not everyone that posted in this tread is in the Zeta conference.

My favorite part of all of this is how you give back ups as much playing time. Us too. I was not criticizing you at all I am very glad to have you in the league and am more than willing to share with you the mistakes we made in our rebuild. I can say it all in one word Finances! Seriously, I understood your comment completely and I agree with what you are saying.

dubdeuce I understood your posts completely and agree with what you were saying. I was just trying to clarify my thoughts and was not thinking about Corey at all. Seriously, though where did you get the Avatar? I love it and it is very true

Stats dont define an All Star.

If you change your tactics to avoid or contain one opposition player, then that player is an All Star.
