Outstanding game, Phoenix. We were really pumped for this game and you made it every bit as challenging as we knew you would. Definitely not looking forward to having to face you guys in the playoffs. Good luck the rest of the way!

GOOD game Phoenix, that was a War. I could tell you committed to stopping the run and taking away Novawitten, and dared Jazz Man to beat you guys with his arm. We darn near couldn't.
This was actually a game we had chalked up as a loss for our side at the start of the season; we are very, very lucky to get it. THREE 50-yard+ field goals from Kick Magnet? And having a chip shot field goal blocked out of the back of the end zone, I thought we had lost at that point.
I need some damn air after watching that one. Glad to be involved in a nailbiter I guess, but that's the closest I've come to a heartstopping moment this year. Awesome game.

Yeah, that's exactly what I gameplanned for on defense, and it worked as well as I could have expected. Your kicker nailing a bunch of 50 yarders didn't help our cause, and us not being able to force any turnovers while you guys ended up with three of 'em was the difference.

Thanks, same to you! That's been one of our key goals is limiting turnovers. Obviously, you can't control giving the ball away, especially in a simmed game, but we work on ball security and limiting mistakes as much as we can. Hard to argue with seven total turnovers through 13 games. (I know, some of you other teams have fewer turnovers, but you're supposed to be better than us anyway.
)
But hey, at least there'll be one first-round playoff game where we're pretty sure it won't be a blowout!
