The thing with the pirates, is that it was founded on about 6 of us....so we never hit free agency or anything really. we realize that some of our builds from season 1 went hit or miss and this season is different. I bet the Vaqueros had that same attitude before you beat them by 94 points last season.

After a couple 50+ point losses, "that spirit" will quickly vanish like it did for all the other USA Pro teams that quit already.


Would you spend an extra hour or 2 scouting and gameplanning if it was the difference between winning and losing? For sure. How about if it was the difference between losing by 80 and losing by 110? I wouldn't waste a minute worrying about it.
