Problem with SAs is there won't be any concrete proof of Juke/Head Fake/Quick Cut because they are all "I go one way, he freezes" style breaks. Have a ton of points in all of them. And High Agility. Or don't. Pick one and specialize (Hint: Quick Cut) OR don't. But, any self-respecting scholar will tell you it is impossible to prove a negative. So don't waste time saying what it isn't. Put your points where you will and have success. If your build works, and has a ton in Juke, let us know.

I'm not sure if that's a spin or not. Like you said, there's really no way to tell. Fawking GLB...

That is totally a spin. The RB continues a circular.. "spinning" motion after the hit and break.

I believe juke/head fake just makes the defender freeze, which allows your player to sometimes run through them. Agility allows you to run over their dot without faking them out as well.

I'm not seeing it. Too me, his movement is just him gaining momentum while moving forward and outside.

I've seen replays of HB's getting hit and "bouncing" off of the defender and running in a circular motion around them. However, they were power backs and had 0 points in spin.

That is a spin off the CB just before my WR's get tackled, I'm basing this on the fact that my WR has 9 Spin. Although in 1 and a half seasons of having 9 Spin I think that's the only time he's ever actually span.

In my opinion, i see 1 juke in this play. You can pause it when the HB gets to the 31 yard line. as he moves towards the 32, he moves both up a yard and over to the right a yard at the same time. this is too much movement to be a cut, because you can see he used a cut to get by the FS. he actually runs diagonally from the 21 yard line to the 15 yard line (about twice the amount of horizontal ground covered in the cut as the juke, but it took 6 yards to pull off, whereas the juke took 1.) the first is definitely a juke though... he even missed a tackle because of it. the cut on the FS didn't yield a "missed tackle" message. if he cut to miss the SS in the first one, he wouldn't have gotten close enough to miss a tackle

I'd call juke a decent SA provided you have the agility and speed to use it correctly... being able to move at a 1:1 ratio like that rather than simply use the cut and try and run around the defender would break alot more tackles.

all this being said, i've got a power back (although a pretty good one, i'd say )

I say it's a spin...makes me feel all warm inside.

Very hard to say, but that SS probably doesn't miss a whole lot of open field tackles like that...and Iala doesn't generally power through anyone without "cpu" in their ownership profile.

your example he's dancing from side to side. in the top example, the rb runs toward the defender and makes a short and very sudden move to the side, which is a juke. I can't explain it any clearer, but there is a distinct difference. I'm sorry if you can't see it.
