There is no comparison between that team and this one. In fact, there isn't anyone left on this team that was on that team player wise. So it's a apples to oranges argument.

Maybe you should spend more time trying to help your Terps (WTF is a Terrapin anyways? I always wondered that, serious) beat BC. You guys had a good shot for a while.

What's is funny is that I went to UofM (online for 5 semesters, through the military)....I still don't know what a terrapin is.

A terrapin is a turtle, just bigger. Not much I can do about my Terps. It's up to Friedgen. Our problem is recruiting. We constantly overachieve but that only gets you so far.

Same here, I am neutral...I am a UF fan and I don't care whether we get OU or Texas, I actually think Texas would be tougher to beat. Either ways, Texas winning 45-35 means they are better than you, you got the conference title but either ways they are the better team...just like Ole Miss is better than UF. Texas and Ole Miss settled it on the field...you can beat every team Texas played by 100 more points but if they beat you...they are better. It is simple logic.

A very valid point. Let's use one game as matter of fact in spite of a seasons worth of data. Texas/OU is too close to call for me, but to say that if TeamA beats TeamB that A is better despite overwhelming evidence others (see UF/Ole Miss) is pretty ridiculous. Are the Browns a better team than the Giants? Let's try to use our heads here and not fall back on easy so called "logical" conclusions.

McGrai, in football you settle it on the field...it doesn't matter if one team is better all season...if you beat a team head to head and they don't beat you again, then you are the better team...whether or not they have better talent. Does it matter that UF would probably beat Ole Miss 8-9 times out of 10? No because they beat us when it mattered just like the Giants and Pats last season, were the Pats the more talented team and would they have won a 2 out of 3 series...most likely but the Giants were the better team when it mattered. There's a reason why Football isn't best out of 3 because you have 1 chance to win when it matters.(sometimes 2 if you get a bowl rematch or a CCG rematch)
