For the record, I only thought it was funny that someone made a bold claim about the quality of one player and that was claim clearly inaccurate.

Am I missing something here, did we not just nominate a committee so we didn't have to go through all these posts about how everyone's players should be a pro bowler? Maybe it was written in English and that's the reason for the confusion. If you deserve it you will get in so please stop the campaigning for all our sakes! As the votes are tallied up, I want everyone to think before they post bitching about who is on there and who is not. We can’t nominate everyone and not all the people on this list had the best stats a lot of builds were taken into account on these; not just stats alone.
I myself spent a little over a week reviewing players and actually went back to look at game tape just to get an idea of how they look on the field. The committee members have spent a lot of hours on this and there were several that were just very hard decisions to make.
HB for example there are 3 spots in the west and 3 spots in the east, there a total of 11 half backs with over 2000 yards 19 of them averaging over 8 yards per carry but only 7 of which had more than 250 attempts any one of those 7 would make a normal probowl team but the best players had to be chosen and someone has got to be left off the ballot. Don't be upset if you don’t see your back on this list just know that all of you 7 half backs that have over 2k yards average more than 8 yards per carry and have more than 250 attempts had a hell of a season but there wasn’t enough room for all of you.
Look for a post later with the pro bowl announcement.
