Tough one ECT - still 4 games to go today, and winning 3 = good shape, winning 2 = day 21 matters a lot

Wow . . . I really thought ECT would win that one. Tough loss for Oceania.

The rest of us just need to buckle our garter belts and get to work.

5. 10/09/08 13:00 (day 19)
Brazilian Cardinals (SA-Pro)
Tonga Ikale Tahi (O-Pro)

Above should be a win, and hopefully a big one to swing the point differential our way

6. 10/09/08 16:00 (day 19)
Brisbane Gods (O-Pro)
Wall Knights (SA-Pro)

Gods are in tough, but I like their defense to at the very least keep the score respectable, if not pull off what would be considered an upset

7. 10/09/08 17:00 (day 19)
Galapagos Guardians (SA-Pro)
IC Incinerators (O-Pro)

The way IC is playing right now, this should be a sweet victory

8. 10/09/08 18:00 (day 19)
Santiago Benitos (SA-Pro)
Brisbane Heat (O-Pro)

This match is crucial -- the Heat are in tough but right now they seem to be firing on all cylinders defensively, and the offense is in high gear as well. Looking forward to seeing the end result here.

--

9. 10/11/08 15:00 (day 21)
Cobra Kai (SA-Pro)
Bonzai Pipeline 'Nites (O-Pro)

Can't see the 'Nites dropping a game to these bums...we'll never hear the end of it if the unthinkable happens

10. 10/11/08 18:00 (day 21)
San Juan Caballeros (SA-Pro)
West Scranton Invaders (O-Pro)

I'm taking the Invaders in this one, just a strong team that has been proving themselves in other friendlies vs. high-caliber teams

11. 10/11/08 20:00 (day 21)
Waikikamukau Wop-Wops (SA-Pro)
New England Burning Pride (O-Pro)

This is truly a swing match...will the Pride team that stunned the Mustangs show up? If so, chalk up another one for Oceania

--

12. 10/13/08 21:00 (day 23)
Tijuana Donkies (SA-Pro)
Melbourne Thorny Devils (O-Pro)

Another swing match, probably the last one. Melbourne has handle Tijuana in seasons 4 & 5, 2-0 in friendlies, but have had their own hiccups this season. Still, I think we match up well vs. this team and can take it home.

-----

BOLD PREDICTION

Oceania 7-5, score differential doesn't come into play

Rofl, wonder if Drachir will show up and eat crow on that one. Aussie Cardinals lost to us by 34 yesterday, Brazilian Cardinals lose to Tonga today by 77... still think OPL sucks?

Gordon James wrecked their ROT
