IMO, the difference in a restructured league would be that in pro, every other game would be like a playoff game. Making the playoffs would be like winning a trophy and winning a trophy would be like winning the lotto. I think it would be fun to be in a league that sent a good team down to AAA.

In AAA I think most teams that stayed would have a great chance to win a trophy. And an extra 6 mil that goes with that in playoffs if you can get home field.

I have stated that I do not want to move up without earning it and I want to see how the structure would work out before I moved up without earning it. I dont want to move up if the structure just ends up being a gutted mess again. Whats the point in that?

I get that. I wouldn't want to move up without earning it either, if I didn't think that the new pro league was going to be like I described. I guess you could get teams that have been around for awhile and verbally say they are going to be around for a few more seasons. I know my team will be around for awhile. I would like to win a trophy in pro before I call it quits. I would prefer to move up by winning a trophy as well. Although, I do get a little bored when half the season is spent on cupcakes.

While I appreciate the fact you think LBT can be a pro team, I think Ufa and St. Petersburg are still better than us.

I do admit that I didn't do alot of research. The main reason I don't think UFA is ready is because of money and the stadium. AFter looking at it again this morning, I would probably move St. Petersburg up into the pro catagory.

LBT will have a maxed stadium end of this year assuming they can be somewhat frugal money wise...which is what a pro team needs obviously. I'm not sure what their support is, it can't be maxed I don't think. Takes more than two years unless you win 20-0 or something. That might be a problem money wise for 32-40 equip.

But as of now, I'm holding off judgment on who are "pro teams" until we officially hear what the proposed fix is. St Pete, LBT, Minsk B and maybe UFA/Minsk N could do their thing. Might not be top teams but float around for a playoff spot and keep improving. There are a lot of very good AAA1 teams as well.
