I think it would be really interesting and open a new dimension to player and team building in GLB if there was a VA that reduced the penalty for playing out of your position.

For example: Maybe our offensive scheme calls for the HB to occasionally line up as a WR. This isn't really feasible right now due to the penalty. But I think it would be interesting if an HB could invest in a VA that reduced or eliminated that penalty. Another example would be using a corner back as a back up WR, or a WR as a back up CB.

Maybe there are specific VAs for positions, such as: Offensive Line, Defensive Line, Running Back, WR, Secondary, Linebacker.

This would also provide for some interesting dynamics if/when injuries are put into the game. For most NFL teams, the 3rd or 4th string QB is usually a WR or someone else form the offense.

edit: Maybe each level of the VA reduces the penalty by 5% for a max reduction of 75%? Or 6.5% so the max reduction is 97.5%? Smarter minds than I should be able to figure out the details if it turns out to be a workable addition.

Broken Ankles: This player is known for his elusiveness. Each level of broken ankles provides a 3% chance that a faked out defender will stay "stunned" for an extra tick (stacks so there would be X% rolls each tick until it passes for the defender to get up)

Defense needs a counter to hard count.

Heebie Jeebies- A scary D-lineman can make the O-line jump. Each level of Heebie Jeebies gives a +6% better chance to draw the offensive player directly opposite of you offsides before the snap.

The thread Ball Hawk needs adjusted and WRs need a Route Running VA IMO has been merged into this thread

Current Ball Hawk
This player has a nose for the ball. Each level of Ball Hawk gives a +2% bonus to speed, agility, and vision from the moment the player sees a pass coming until it is caught or dropped. Applies on both defense and offense.

Updated Ball Hawk
This player has a nose for the ball. Each level of Ball Hawk gives a +2% bonus to jumping, catching and vision on all passes greater than 8 yards

New VA
Route Runner
This player knows how to run precise routes. Each level of Route Runner gives a +1% bonus to speed, agility, and vision against man coverage.

The reason for the above is man coverage is way too easy and when you think Ball Hawk you think of a guy out jumping his opponent on a jump ball not some crazy ass speed boost to screw up the QBs limited ability to lead a WR or a CB getting a crazy ass speed boost making him look like a clown jumping a route.

Ive always thought that Ball Hawk should just be a AGI/VIS boost, not SPD

Would be better if you were able to cut down (dramatically) a WR's ability to catch the ball in double / triple coverage. Also, raise the interception %.

I think the Ball Hawk change is perfect. Route Runner just appears to be a something unnecessary. The sim should be fixed, not add another overpowered VA.

That said, now that this is in suggestions, it will die.
