I do along with many others. In the context of the conversation it should have been easy to discern.

Actually Ray, AD=Athletic DIRECTOR
I have never seen it used any other way tbh

I am quite aware AD stands for Athletic Director. I shortened Athletic Department to AD because I was typing it on my phone and was lazy and thought anyone with half a brain could understand what I was referring to based on the topic on conversation.

Therefore...

Maybe now the sips can focus their efforts of deflection at hypocritical expansion discussions.

See this is the difference between Texas and aggy, the only legal "action" that was taken was Baylor not signing a contract to not sue the SEC. I'm not sure if this extended to ISU or Kansas, but Baylor for sure.

And you spin this as an attack from the entire conference (Big 12) on aggy.

edit too many attacks

Just because there weren't official actions made in the courts doesn't mean action wasn't taking place behind the scenes. Just deny there was any concern, Mack didn't offer, etc.

So, which is, do many others use AD to mean athletic department or are you the only one doing it because you were lazy?

Edit for quote fail.

Once again I'm not a Baylor fan.

I have seen athletic department shortened to AD, I just recognize that in sports contexts that it is usually used to denote the athletic director. Since I have seen it used in that way, because of the context of the conversation, and because I was lazy, I used AD in that way.

Yet tons of your fans want it to happen. The same ones who had the attitude and arguments I stated. All of the rumors I have made up though, nobody in Austin has even heard of such a thing of course. They are waiting for that Notre Dame offer to come through any minute now. In fact, it was probably a story broken on the LHN, that is why nobody knows about it.

Which fans? Everyone I talk to thinks that adding FSU wouldn't do much to help us. I for one (one of the people who made the arguments that A&M is stupid for going to the SEC) think it's a bad idea for them to join. I would much rather have regional conferences (all, not just the Big 12) than have a bunch of super conferences that stretch across the country with the sole goal of getting "big name" schools rather than regional schools.

Too easy.

Your athletic department has been nothing compared to ours. Keep borrowing money and firing your AD and we'll keep raking in the cash. At least you have meat judging.

Mack doesn't offer, he chooses.

I do agree, this is getting very silly. Aggies don't even matter, alike the other bottom feeders in the SEC, and the Big 12 is more laughable than the Big 10 at this point.

Perfect example of a team that would be a bottom feeder in the SEC.

If you can't beat him...hire him.

I wonder how long he'll stick around before he decides to retire again?

I'm hoping at least 1 national title and a few wins against the SEC to give us back some fucking dignity..

The sweater vest tenure was unbearable outside of conference play. He became too scared to take risks, and was unable to recruit equal speed and talent, in comparison to the top tier SEC teams.

Hopefully Meyer can bring all of that to the table, get the Buckeyes back up to par as far as talent goes nationally and take more risks during the games, and I think the Buckeyes would be back on top in no time.

The Midwest has a shit load of high quality football players, in which a lot of the great ones were leaving the midwest for better coaching/programs, and likely wouldn't have left 15 years ago when the Big 10 was still top tier.

Hopefully the Big 10 can improve as a whole so they can close the gap and be a worthwhile #2 football conference, if not 5 years from now become the #1 football conference again..
