Mother Hubbard is 15, Sloth Tooz and Roid Rage are 14.

Does it matter when they are brought over? Should we excuse someone who brings over level 10's at week 1 because its week 1?

you should excuse it because they were legitimate fa signings. as far as i know the players former teams are alive and well, not gutted. the assassins entire roster is comprised of hard work either through development, trades, or fa signings. feel free to pm any of our players or players former team owners if you are so sure there is a conspiracy. again people, no one here is saying that you are not allowed to sign fas, or even wildly talented fas. the issue here is not about fa signings at all. it is about a group of people fortifying one team clearly at the dire expense of another which is once again against the rules. Now will everyone please allow me to stop beating Eight Bells...Lord I apologize for that comment, please forgive me for disrespecting the equine industry and animal lovers everywhere.

The issue is there has been an ongoing problem in the game concerning the gutting of teams in order to benefit other teams in lower level leagues. There is an entire 65 page thread in the announcments section dealing with it. That thread was started by the game's designer.

Perhaps unknowingly what you and your friends did was exactly what others have been doingintentionally, take players from a higer level team, buy/gm/negotiate with a team in a much lower league and bring them all down and them dominate that league. It hurts the integrity of those leagues, because it ruins the competition in both leagues.

It is a serius enough issue for the man responsible for designing this game to start a thread discussing how to deal with it. It is certainly not what he intended to happen.

Well I can't speak for others but I can say for myself that I had no idea that the move would cause such an uproar.

yea, it appears all coincidental with you. I just found it funny that all 25 of those players were traded to those 3 teams in one day. And I know that the trading that happened there wasn't coincidental and it was all more of a farm system thing going on. It was funny because I played that team and then the next day when I went to write up a post game summary, none of the same players were on the team. And if farm systems are legal, then I need to get me one of those lol. Making a couple new guys in the D-league just isn't working out. They seem to be getting 20 plays per game if they are lucky.

Let me ask you this Lef Grebo is it cheating to ask a team for a game plan if your team has beat this team you are about to play?

Ummm no.

I am pointing out the fallacies in your arguments, not making any comments about you as a person. There is a great big difference. I am having a debate about issues, your getting all personal. That usually happens when someone has run out of arguments to support his conclusions. Once again that says nothing to your character or the shape of your head, just that you have run out of germain arguments.

nope cant say that i do. i have the owner of pooh onu's full back on my roster as a backup. had to get him when our other backup couldnt figure out how to manage his energy better. i had to bring in mother hubbard because our first starting rb decided to go all chad johnson / T.O. on us, was poisining the locker room. some of mother hubbards other players signed on as well as kind of a package deal - the guys rb is running behind his OTs. i bore everyone with this because there are alot of good reasons why players go from one place to another. we just happen to be talking about the BAD reasons as to how a player arrives at another team. I think we should keep the discussion here until it is resolved.

Forgive me for not poking a hole in all of shacky21's statements. If the first is invalid, the rest are suspect. It is up to him to post proof, not for me to go through each and every one of his unsubstantiated statements.

If we take your track, someone could make 1 billion false statements and unless I proved all of them incorrect, he is right.

Wow, That is a great question! Lets see if I can talk it out. Now in the real world, coaches will share game films with each other, and even give one another pointers about how to deal with a team. But not whole game plans. So I guess it would beok to say, hey I had success running the ball against team X, while maybe not such a good idea to provide them with an entire game plan.

In fact that may be more beneficial in the long run. Game plans take into account what are the strengths and weaknesses of your team v the other team. My strengths may not be your strengths so my gameplan may not work for you. But if I said hey I noticed team Y runs the ball up the gut more often then around the edges, that could prove useful, and I really do not think it would be unethical. I am open to a different opinion though.

Calling into question a 3rd party while discussing 2 others. Classic straw man. Also, jsut to make sure I checked the generals players and did not find any that spent any time with Honolulu this season.

Frankly I am quite disappointed.

Don't care if you're disappointed. But this isn't arguing about Chattanooga anymore. This is attacking General Terms.

Anyway, not sure what you were checking...in fact, I'm pretty sure you didn't check a damn thing or just are very observant. So look again:

Mother Hubbard
Smart Shell
Boomer Brown
Sloth Tooz
Roid Rage Alzado

Theres quite a few other players that were added from other teams around week 3 - 5.

I checked his players not his teams players. I have sinced edited my post once I figured out what you where refering to.

5 players, all belonging to the same agent. Half of what came over to Chattenooga. Also, they came over as lvl 6 7 and 8s, and are now 12 - 13. That is basically equivelent to players on all the other teams here. You guys got players that are at the very highest level, or higher. And twice as many.

If you cannot see the difference you are either a) less intelligent then I gave you crdit for, or b) turning a blind eyein order to strike out at someone.

Either way, your resorting to Straw Man tactics and fallacies, which as far as I am concerned means you have given up on the actual debate and conceded.

Yes I recruited silverandblack's players as FAs. Found him through several posts in the various players looking for new teams pages. when i signed his guys i signed a bunch of others from many sources including trades. i also caught hell for it from many of my own team members because they did not like so much turnover but i did it in the interest of making the team better which i think any gm would do and i think i have done. the difference between what i did and what cheattanooga did has been made clear by the esteemed mr. grebo. instead of of calling out the assassins you should be asking us yourselves how do we get our team in that position, legitimately. you could also be looking to emulate the naked mole rats, or the alpine golfers, or the bruins, or buffalo, or any of the other successful teams for that matter. this is what you should be doing, but i am not afraid of your aspersions either way.

Sounds good, thanks for the clearification. And Good luck the rest of the season Assasins

Thanks. We will be hard pressed beating your teams in the playoffs i fear. Do you have to be the naked mole rats? i hate those things...at least change the team logo.

Yes, that is correct, and it is how intellectual debate works, not to mention trials.

Because the statement that if one statement is proven false they all are is also a logical fallacy. In fact one couldl be wrong and the rest are true. And since there exists no proof that they are false they must be acccepted as true on thier face. I suggest you take a Logic 101 course as this is all covered in that class.

Would this be cheating for your GM to e-mail me this, so you could beat a team I beat.

Okay so I was curious if you could share your defensive plan for when you beat chattanooga, I already have our set and it probably won't change much But I am curious to see if I was headed in the right direction for trying to shut down their offense. They are trying to jump ahead by using a bunch of high levels players but you guys have proven that they can be beaten.
