For every extra slot we have, there will be a GM who wants to bring in a specialized one-way player to fill it. The more specialized players, the less it resembles actual Iron Man. 20 players means you can have seven specialized offensive players, seven specialized defensive players, four guys who go both ways, AND a kicker and a punter. This is definitely not in the spirit of the idea I'm proposing.

Yeah I like it that gives you the challenge of building something new and different.

I love the idea.

Only change: make it true iron man, limit the roster to 12, including a required kicker.

as we said 15 is in the spirit of the iron man game
depending on how you spread the players you can have more than 3 specialists
1 kicker/punter (most likely but maybe some other option are posible Think of a qb kicker verry plausible since a lot of their stats are in sink)
3 offensive specialists
3 defense specialists
and 8 players for both sides of the ball
is the maximum
but for the fact that you probably need all the players all the time to play the maximum of plays to get treu the stamina tactics.

the specialists might only apear later on when the player are able to actuallly play full game without getting to the minimum amount of energy.
Offcoure we understand that the speciallists wil have big impact for they excel at positions where other will not
but all these pros and cons are the things that make this ironman game worth the try
so lets go lets go

I agree with this.

God forbid epic suggestions that could EASILY be implemented receive one iota of attention from this games staff.

Would this be like peewee? Only lvl 1 guys.. Or you can play as long you want?
