That is certainly interesting. My first instinct would be to suspect a farm team situation, which according to what I have read is not considered gutting collusion. I think that is because the players are moving up, not down, but I could be wrong. Perhaps someone with more knowledge then me can enlighten us.

Mother Hubbard is 15, Sloth Tooz and Roid Rage are 14.

Does it matter when they are brought over? Should we excuse someone who brings over level 10's at week 1 because its week 1?

That all depends on the enviroment, and number of players. Bringin inone or 2 players is one thing, bringingin the creme of a team 3 leagues above yours is another.

As I said, if this had happened in the off season it likely would have gone unnoticed. Yes you need to be aware of your surroundings and the feelings of your peers. Because they are peers, not machines, and will have wildly varying responses.

I checked his players not his teams players. I have sinced edited my post once I figured out what you where refering to.

5 players, all belonging to the same agent. Half of what came over to Chattenooga. Also, they came over as lvl 6 7 and 8s, and are now 12 - 13. That is basically equivelent to players on all the other teams here. You guys got players that are at the very highest level, or higher. And twice as many.

If you cannot see the difference you are either a) less intelligent then I gave you crdit for, or b) turning a blind eyein order to strike out at someone.

Either way, your resorting to Straw Man tactics and fallacies, which as far as I am concerned means you have given up on the actual debate and conceded.



Yes I recruited silverandblack's players as FAs. Found him through several posts in the various players looking for new teams pages. when i signed his guys i signed a bunch of others from many sources including trades. i also caught hell for it from many of my own team members because they did not like so much turnover but i did it in the interest of making the team better which i think any gm would do and i think i have done. the difference between what i did and what cheattanooga did has been made clear by the esteemed mr. grebo. instead of of calling out the assassins you should be asking us yourselves how do we get our team in that position, legitimately. you could also be looking to emulate the naked mole rats, or the alpine golfers, or the bruins, or buffalo, or any of the other successful teams for that matter. this is what you should be doing, but i am not afraid of your aspersions either way.

There is an old saying, Silence implies consent.

I came along with Mamba.

Mamba was an acquaintance through message boards. He pointed out this game and I said I would like to join his team.

We quickly found out that we were in over our heads in AAA. Mamba decided to move on and told all of us that he was going to go. I can't speak for everyone, but I knew myself that the current situation was crappy and I wanted a change as well. I asked for release of my players which Mamba did.

Once Mamba found his new team, he told us where he was going. I had offers for both of my players from Al, along with countless others. I thought that it would be fun to try to keep a group of guys together, so I signed one of my players to Chattanooga. The other I signed to an offer that impressed me. Some players did the same - asked for a release from the Mambas and followed Mamba here.

I can assure you that we weren't cheating, that we are owned by separate people. We just want some entertainment.

I liked the atmosphere of Chattanooga and I see why Mamba went there. None of us paid a ton of attention to this game so we clearly aren't as invested as the guys complaining here. I personally didn't think much of it myself.

Now I will ask for my release since it has caused so much controversy, and I'll make sure not to join the same team as Mamba. But I will say that I would have liked to keep the group of guys together and if there are rules against such thing it seems counter-intuitive to growth of the game.

If nothing else we should be thanking Chattanooga for giving us something to talk about. This forum was all but dead before today. It's about time it gets active and sparks some interests around here.

You had a chance to stay together in AAA but chose not to. If you were that bad you would have ended up in BBB next season.

Hmmmm....well i dont know anything about that. all i can say is the fact that if some of the players owners mentioned that you are concerned about have a player in common or one of the assassins player owners have a player in common with these teams it is purely coincidental. like i said each of us owns many players on many different teams so having something in common is bound to happen.

The issue is there has been an ongoing problem in the game concerning the gutting of teams in order to benefit other teams in lower level leagues. There is an entire 65 page thread in the announcments section dealing with it. That thread was started by the game's designer.

Perhaps unknowingly what you and your friends did was exactly what others have been doingintentionally, take players from a higer level team, buy/gm/negotiate with a team in a much lower league and bring them all down and them dominate that league. It hurts the integrity of those leagues, because it ruins the competition in both leagues.

It is a serius enough issue for the man responsible for designing this game to start a thread discussing how to deal with it. It is certainly not what he intended to happen.

Look, I'm not going to try to argue about this. It seems so silly to me. Believe what you want to...
