That's your Heisman winner folks
Patiently awaiting Mark May's indignation, yet for some reason I don't see it coming.
I'm annoyed by his actions and hope he gets what he deserves...but pretty funny how quickly you call out someone other than Manziel. Winston (just like Manziel) is a train wreck waiting to happen...just in different ways. Winston likely grew up with no role models, Manziel grew up with everything given to him...both are future train wrecks in my opinion!!!

How has Manziel shown any signs of being a train wreck? He parties, that's it. I am pretty sure Gronk is 10x the partier Johnny is, and his production isnt questioned. Winston has criminal mischief from the bb gun fight, stealing soda, and now shoplifting on top of the rape that was covered up. If Johnny had been busted stealing crab legs it would have been as big of a story as Donald Sterling.
Manziel was charged with disorderly conduct, failure to identify and possessing a fake ID prior to his redshirt freshman year.
"Oversleeping" at the Manning Camp.
NCAA investigation involving the "alleged" receipt of money for signing autographs.
= signs of a train wreck.

Johnny was not charged with disorderly conduct, he was charged with Fail to ID and possession of a Fake ID. He plead guilty to Fail to ID and the Fake ID charge was dropped. A 19 year old with a Fake ID =/= train wreck
Oversleeping at a voluntary camp =/= train wreck
There has never been any tangible proof of Johnny selling any autographs. Rovell is a hack journalist who flung mud and hoped something stuck, and nothing did. He said early on he had videos and witnesses to transactions being made, yet miraculously nothing has ever surfaced. That is because nothing ever happened.
Go back to sucking your thumb in the corner while Johnny Football, Jake Matthews, and Mike Evans all go in the first 7 picks of the NFL draft

An aggie getting on other teams for their players getting arrested? Talk about hypocrisy. The year isn't even half way over and A&M already has the Fulmer Cup on lock down. At least you'll have one championships to put up on your stadium this year.
And I'm pretty sure their are over 1,100 pieces of tangible evidence that Manziel sold the autographs not to mention witness statements that he was paid.

Where are these witnesses? Where is the evidence? The NCAA said there was no evidence that he received any money for any autographs, if evidence existed this wouldn't be the case, and you know damn well a sip journalist would have dug something up if there was something.
As for the arrests this offseason, they are pissing off the fanbase, but they are all for minor crap and first offenses. Most are Class C misdemeanors like a traffic ticket. Rapeis Winston has shown a continual propensity for these actions and has been involved in 2 rape situations. That is a whole other level.

OK, proud Longhorn fan, class of '04. Not a Texas native and was more than a little confused by Aggies in general when I moved down here from New England (the Corps in particular). Also, I was more than a little perplexed and kind of put off by the obvious arrogance and occasional borderline disgusting conduct by fellow Longhorns (trust me, I spent a lifetime dealing with Yankees' fan and a lot of Longhorn fans are just as bad, if not worse). Anyway, here's my take:
1) All of the character strikes on Manziel are minor and probably not anything anyone on this board wouldn't have done (or actually did do) when they were 18, 19, or 20. Winston, on the other hand... Maybe a better overall prospect (size, arm strength, played in an NFL style passing attack, etc.), but from what I keep reading, he just seems like a bad guy. Feel free to crucify me for my admittedly uninformed opinion, FSU fans. I'm not responding to anyone after this post.
2) It's going to be boom or bust with Manziel in the NFL. I do not think there will be a middle ground. Everyone who's ever interviewed talks about what a bright kid he is, but A&M's whole offense was based on timing routes and occasionally just throwing it up in the general direction of a pile with Mike Evans in the middle. He has not, however, shown the capacity to play in an NFL passing attack that's based on throwing into set "windows" as opposed to the aforementioned timing routes. Can he learn to do this? Yes, I think so. If he gets really, really good at it, he will seriously fly - think Jim Kelly or maybe even Montana. But until he proves it, we can't say for sure.
3) Why all the hate? Maybe it's because I wasn't born into this rivalry like you two seem to have been, but Texas doesn't want to play A&M and A&M doesn't want to play Texas. Let's just walk away and let it go.
4) I will bet you dollars to donuts the Texans will not pick Manziel. Very possibly a huge mistake, but it isn't happening. It's Clowney or Greg Robinson all the way, assuming they don't trade back. And even then, it could still very likely be Greg Robinson.
5) Longhornfan and RayRay, you guys just need to make out and get it over with. NTTAWWT.

An hour and 41 minutes into the Draft....Manziel not looking too happy right now...
I am pissed that Houston didn't trade back into the first to get him. That is all on O'Brien. He better develop whomever they pick to be better than Johnny, or else this was an epic fail. They could have traded their 2nd and a 3rd or 4th to trade up for him that late, then they would have gotten Clowney AND Manziel, and this town would have exploded. Instead they went the same, boring route they always go, playing it safe

Their failure was their inability to get into the first to get Bridgewater. Not Manziel.

Agree with this. Also thought letting Garoppolo pass was a mistake, but I like the picks so far. The TE from Iowa is a stud, the guard from UCLA fills a big time hole right away, and Nix was a steal where they got him.
I just hope they have the good sense to stay away from Savage and take Aaron Murray if they get the chance. They're going to suck next year anyway, so I'd hope you get Murray as kind of a place holder/future backup for when they likely go 4-12 and maybe wind up with a shot at Mariotta.

Hou can get Mecklenberger and have a fine QB at a bargain.
Clowney, X, Nix, etc...they have been outstanding in their picks tbh.

Savage...
Would have rather had Murray as well, even though he is a noodlearm.
