Better, she gets to be a cheerleader for one of their home games. That should help with morale and winning more games.

14 Bay Area Wolfpack 2-11-0 W1
15 Greensboro Tsunami 2-11-0 L4
16 Northeast Storm 2-11-0 L6
Preview:
Week 14 may end up being the determining week for some teams playoff hopes. There is a four way battle brewing for the final two playoff spots between Denver, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, and Charm City. Charm City has a great chance to pull even and really make things exciting by beating Bay Area this week. Pittsburgh has to face Florida and Indianapolis plays host to Big 12. If both teams drop their games and Charm City manages a win against Bay Area there will be a three way tie at 7-7 for the 8th and final playoff spot (assuming Denver takes care of business against Tampa). Watch out for an exciting week of GLB football.
#13 (2-11) Greensboro Tsunami vs. #15 (2-11) Lake Erie Menace
Sticky Hand and company play host to Lake Erie in this week 14 pillow fight. Both teams have continued to struggle this season and will be looking to at least pull away from the pits of the conference and attempt to establish themselves as a middle tier team and gain some momentum for next season. Lake Erie played Birmingham fairly tough last week and are an improving team. Greensboro is coming off a tough streak of four games against Virginia, Indianapolis, NewDawn, and Ludlow. Greensboro will be utilizing two quality QBs in an attempt the beat the Menace. We will see if they are able to have success.
Key matchup: Greenboro's QB quo vs. Lake Erie's secondary. Can the QB pair get the ball to Sticky Hand and company enough to get the job done?
Prediction: 21-17 Greensboro
#14 (2-11) Northeast Storm vs. #2 (11-1-1) Ludlow Lions
The most dangerous team in the Eastern conference heads to Northeast to face the Storm this week in what should be a fairly boring game. Ludlow has been playing near flawless football lately and should have no problems rolling through the Storm. There really isn't much to say about this game. Northeast will need to control the pace of the game and limit mistakes, but it's going to take a near perfect performance to hang with Ludlow and I don't think Northeast has it in them.
Key matchup: Ludlow's offensive line vs. Northeast's defensive line. Who wins the battle of the trenches?
Prediction: 27-6 Ludlow
#7 (7-6) Denver Stallions vs. #12 (3-10) Tampa Tiger Sharks
Denver will need to be focused in this game and should make sure they take advantage of what should be a fairly easy win against Tampa. Denver is very much in the thick of things for a playoff spot, but a slip up against Tampa could be the game that turns a solid season into one of disappointment and frustration. Lefty Stabler of Tampa has been one of the least effecient QBs in the conference and Denver will not make it easy to pass the ball. If Lefty has a break out performace Tampa might pull the upset. If he shows up with one of his normal games look for Denver to walk away with a W.
Key matchup: Lefty Stabler vs. the Denver defense. Can Stabler make good decisions and find his open targets effeciently?
Prediction: 26-13 Denver
#9 (7-6) Indianapolis Warlords vs. #6 (9-4) Big 12 Champions
The Warlords play host to Big 12 in what could end up being Indianpolis' most important game of the season. Indianapolis desperatly needs a win as they easily have the hardest remaining conference schedule. If they lose this game then they are really going to face an uphill battle should Denver and Pittsburgh both manage victories. Indianapolis has the potential to beat Big 12 but do not matchup well against them. Big 12 has one of the better rushing attacks in the conference and also are home to, arguably, the conference's best secondary. Indianapolis will need to put up some points early or it will be very difficult to compete against the Champions.
Key matchup: Warlord passing game vs. Big 12's secondary. Can the Warlords move the ball effectively through the air and get first downs?
Prediction: 20-7 Big 12
#4 (10-3) Virginia Wolverines vs. #5 (9-3-1) NewDawn Thrashing Badgers (GoW)
This is a matchup any football fan would love to witness. NewDawn heads to Virginia to face the Wolverines in a pivotal battle for homefield advantage in the opening round of the playoffs. Virginia has the momentum heading into this game after tqo quality victories over Big 12 and Indianpolis. This is an extremely even matchup and both teams use similar styles of play. This game is likely to come down to who can limit the other teams big plays and which team can take better care of the ball. In the end I think Virginia finds a way to pull it out.. but it will be close.
Key matchup: Wolverine offensive ball control vs. NewDawn offensive ball control. Which team can take care of the ball and control the pace of the game?
Prediction: 17-16 Virginia
#1 (12-1) Birmingham Bombers vs. (3-10) Whitchurch Mouseketeers
Birmingham heads into their final regular season home game of their year against the Mouseketeers of Whitchurch. Birmingham is looking to get back into true form after a disappointing loss to Ludlow and an ugly win over Lake Erie. Whitchurch has the talent on the team to beat any team in the Eastern conference, so they will give the Bombers all they can handle. Whitchurch throws the ball more than any team in the Eastern conference at 52 attempts per game. If they are able to move the ball without throwing any picks they might be able to put some points up against the Bombers. If Birmingham managers a TO or two and can limit the big play.. they should pull out the win.
Key matchup: Birmingham secondary vs. Whitchurch's passing game. Can the Bombers force the Whitchurch passing game into bad decisions?
Prediction: 17-7 Birmingham
#8 (7-6) Pittsburgh Deatons vs. #3 (11-2) Florida LightningBolts
Pittsburgh plays hosts to Florida in another important match for the #7-8 playoff spots in the Eastern conference. Florida has an explosive offense with a very good running attack and a very dangerous special teams game. Pittsburgh will need to really make the LightningBolts work for everything they get in order to pull the upset. If Florida is able to control the game and use a strong rushing attack to create sustained drives the Deatons will have a tough time pulling ahead in the game. If Pittsburgh can score effectively and play great defense and not allow Florida any easy points they will have a chance.
Key matchup: "White shoes" Johnson vs. Pittsburgh's special teams unit. Can Mr. Johnson put together yet another impressive special teams performance? He could easily be the difference in the game.
Prediction: 21-14 Florida
#16 (2-11) Bay Area Wolfpack vs. #10 (6-7) Charm City Headset Jockie
This game will be Charm City's last opportunity to sneak into the playoffs. If they can pull a win here and have some luck from the rest of the conference they will still be in playoff contention. Unfortunately, they still have to face Birmingham next week, so even a win here will make for a very difficult road into playoffs. Bay Area continues to struggle despite a fairly strong team on paper. They should matchup fairly well against Charm City and have the potential of pulling the upset here. My gut is telling me to pull the trigger on an Ace Rocket led upset. And.. what the hell.. i'm going to..
Key matchup: Ace Rocket vs. Charm City defense. Can one of league's most effecient passers lead his team to a late season upset?
Prediction: 14-13 Bay Area
