Theoretically, you could use a GM script to fetch a virus by loading an external webpage, but you'd need a major security hole in the browser before you could actually do anything with it (unless of course the user downloads/runs it himself from the offending page). In a nutshell, a script can't infect you directly and attempts to load external pages are obvious to anyone curious enough to look at the code.

I have installed almost all of them at one point or another and never gotten a virus. Deathblade, pabst, monsterkill have the most useful ones and they are all very trustworthy.

I've installed loads of scripts over the seasons and never had any viruses on them and I have all sorts of anti-virus software running on this works laptop.

I had it downloaded for Firefox but after also installing a software like showing your players on replay I had no clue what to do.

OK 438 pages....I know there was a script that put a bunch of links on the homepage for team owners and GM....(stadium, tactics, depth chart and such) but when I formatted my drive and restarted my computer forgot to back up grease monkey scripts and well now I can't find it so I have to click on the Team icon and then get the links. I tried searching glb greasemonkey (owners, gm, team) I found one but it is an old one and no longer works.

Do you know where greasemonkey script is to transfer custom plays and packages from one team to the next?

Sounds like what they say about a person after they shoot up a workplace. They were so nice, we never saw it coming.
