That article is meaningless to refute my statements. He compared the bottom half of the Big 12 with the top of the SEC. He also didn't take into account opposing offenses or starting yard line. I can't remember where I saw it, but someone did an analysis of the top defenses while taking into account the average starting field position for opposing offenses and the quality of the opposing offense. Texas was number two in the nation on the list behind bama at number one.
