If I remember correctly, that's considered outside play in the original game_scout. Only those that were listed as up the middle were inside runs.

Also, I think it would be a LOT more helpful if the passing stats showed short/med/long instead of left/middle/right. 0-4 short, 4-7 med, 7+ long (or whatever).

I know it would be slightly inaccurate because of yac, but it would give a general idea...

The mods keep updating the first couple posts on page one with new scripts as they come out.
People will ALWAYS ask the same questions over and over, that's the nature of the 'net.

The new one shows 5. With the other one, I changed the math to something a little more understandable which, of course, produced totally wrong answers. The new one has the old math again.

That problem looks fixed with the new one. As for short/medium/long, that was one of the first things I wanted to add. I didn't do it because of the yac. I did a couple random games by hand just to see the results, and I didn't like them very much. There always seemed to be a couple passes which were totally wrong and made it look a little misleading. Now, if the yac were in the PBP (hint, hint), I could do it in an hour.

Just wondering what you classify a play as a success?
