In a scrimmage I didn't even prepare for because it was meaningless. We'll just have to find out who's better in the title game.

I prepared for weeks and came up with a radically new game plan never before seen in GLB that we unveiled just for you. That must be why we won.

DVDTalk has the ultimate game plan for next week:

1. Recruit a lvl 19 CPU WR
2. Set to throw to that WR on every single down next game
3. Lose the game by 200 points.

It seems to work for Michigan.

And make sure you use your RB as your QB

The secret to our 50 point win over DVD was using our punter at Center and WRs at DL. Works every time. Don't tell anyone though.

Looks like DVD just told Rapid City they don't have a shot this season. Nothing like a midseason championship guarantee.

So when you add up all of the wins and losses for each conference, the combined records of the East come out to 133 wins and 123 losses, while the West combined comes to 129-127. Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't the conferences have the same amount of wins and losses since there is a winner and loser for eveyr game? Or at the very least the combined records of the league be at .500 because of the week 16 matchups? I love what you're doing matta with this stuff I think it's awesome and rather accurate, but unless my math is wrong the wins and losses just aren't adding up.

The reason that it's not 50/50 is because every team plays somebody from the opposite conference in the 16th game.

16x16= 256, but all that says is there is one winner and one loser for every game. But if there are 256 games played in the league, then the combined record for all 32 teams should come out to be 256-256. It doesn't. It comes out to be 262 wins (133+129) and 250 (123+127) losses. Even though every team plays someone from the other conference in the 16th game, wins and losses should still be even.

I didn't do any of the math or check anyone's figures or look at matta's post again, but since I do the same spreadsheet I know that the Week 16 games are different for the spreadsheet. The scores for the Western side Week 16 are different than the Eastern side Week 16 even though they are playing each other.

I questioned this and the spreadsheet can't determine this information correctly. So that could be how the numbers are different.

Yea understood, I believe matta explained that last season about the difficulty with the simulation and the 16th game. I just looked into it because I was surprised at how many wins there were in the East when I checked it out and then I did the math to see if it played out, that's all. No attack to the system, just pointing something out.

This one also becomes impossible - Miami Hammerheads cannot go 14-2 if NBSK goes 16-0. They haven't played them yet, and Miami has 2 losses. I haven't checked beyond that.

I messed up on one of Miami's scores and had it reversed. They should be 13-3 instead. The spreadsheet doesn't help you at all if you make a mistake, but it is interesting to look at.
