Season (Game 6)

Minnesota SkullsThe Skulls are back to their winning streaks! They faced off against a previously unbeaten Rahls team. Minnesota used a balanced attack to pull this one off. While the Skulls barely beat out the Rahls in total yards (284 to 280.5), turnovers proved to be the decisive factor. The Skulls tightened up their passing defense, Chase Idle and Bigbonecrusher each grabbing a pick. Huge game on offense for Duie James with 95.5 yards on 11 carries and a TD. On Defense, Tommie Brown was a one man wrecking crew with 7 tackles and 3 forced fumbles!

San Antonio RahlsWelcome to the 45 club! It seems to be a curse. Both the Skulls and Rahls have lost the game that pushed them over the top to 45. Regardless, this is a great learning game. Rone is a fantastic owner, who I'm sure enjoyed a great battle, must be very frusterated with this loss. As an owner, it is so difficult planning for such a big game, only to lose it on a few plays. Overall though, his team performed very well. Rosen Drewhouse picked up a huge sack on Rock Slinger in the first quarter. The top rushing duo of Dayel Elessedil and The Heat combined for just over 110 yards. These two had been averaging over 100 yards each per game! Knowing the Rahls, they will buckle down and be a force for the rest of the season. Watch out Austin!

Fort Richardson RedskinsStill rolling and undefeated! J "FM" J had over 160 all purpose yard with 3 TDs. Thundering Beat had 99.5 all purpose yards and a TD. The Redskins will get a tough test next week when they play the undefeated Isotopes. This is the game we've all been waiting for. Unfortunately Miami wasn't much of a test yesterday. The Redskins are a very strong team with great ownership. Next week will be fun guys, be sure to watch the game!
Birmingham BeaversTalk about a loss motivating a team. For the second straight week, the Beavers topped 50 points. The Vikings fought hard, but were easily outclassed by the Beavers. Emmitt Smithers had 246 yards rushing and two TDs. Turn Stile decided to have the team over for breakfast, serving 41 pancakes! Lockhart was efficient when called upon, 13/15 for 156 yards and two TDs. The Beavers are a strong team, but the passing game is questionable for the future.
San Antonio GunslingersUnfortunately, the Gunslingers rebound lasted only a game. They played a tough game, but two interceptions thrown by Matt Weston killed the momentum. Crosby Truck had a fantastic game with 157.5 yards and two TDs on just 6 catches! It just wasn't enough against the 'Topes, who scored three TDs in the final two quarters to seal the deal. The Gunslingers are a great team, who just seem to fall in the big games. Don't count them out, they are on the rise, and will be a team to contend with!
Albuquerque IsotopesThis was the first real test since the Skulls game. It turned out to be a fantastic game. Dalgord completed 31 passes for 336 yards and a touchdown. Efficiency was down a bit, though, throwing two interceptions. The Isotopes had another strong running game, behind their 1-2 punch of Rohn Jiggins and Thomas Roden. Jiggins ran for 78.5 yards and a TD while Roden had 69.5 yards and a TD. The backs were still solid, though they were not handed the rock nearly as much as previous games. Next week with the Redskins will be a game to remember!
Las Vegas AcesThe Aces took out their frustration of the Skulls loss on the Extreme. They put up 69 points on the Extreme. There really isn't one player to highlight, the whole team played a sound game. The Aces are still on their way to show the rest of the league that they are for real. In two weeks they play the Gunslingers followed by the Redskins. If they want believers, those are the two weeks to prove it!

Raleigh Fighting TigersThe Tigers improved to 4-2, by handling the Army with ease. They put up 51 points while only yield 10 to an overmatched Army team. If you want to talk about efficiency, Alex Brunell was 20 of 28 for 233 yards and 4 TDs. Unfortunately that efficiency didn't last all game, as he also threw two picks. This team is on the up, and trust me, teams are taking notice! They play the Skulls next week in a possible playoff matchup.
Miami BreakersAnother game that didn't go too well for the Breakers. The Redskins led from the start and never looked back. On the plus side, the Breakers did score the most points against the Redskins this season. The previous total the Redskins yielded was 10 points. They play the Wedgies next week in a game that should prove to be interesting!
Atomic WedgiesUnfortunately I can't give you guys much of a writeup. 127-0, what more can be said? They dominated, manhandled the Crazy. Next week will be interesting against the Breakers. The Wedgies are another team that is being noticed as a very solid squad.

Austin ExtremeThe Extreme put up 17 points against the Aces, and had 358 total yards. The offense is starting to really click, the defense is just not getting the job done. Koboh Wrath threw for two more TDs and an Int. The Extreme have put together a good squad and should continue to improve!
Death Valley VikingsNot a good week. They will not be happy with the results against the Beavers. Luke Italia had 13 tackles while Chester Vergara had 10. This is a troubling statstic since both are cornerbacks. The team is on the up and look for a better game against the Aces next week!
Ditka's Army +3
Keep your chin up. This has been a tough season, but there will be better weeks. Just continue to keep the squad together and improve as a unit! BBB #5 is tough, and it will take some time, but they have a solid owner, and the team will continue to build a team for the future.

St Louis Lowriders The Lowriders played a solid defensive game. Unfortunately the offense sputtered and was only able to produce 3 points. Hopefully Aces will find something positive from this game and make the Army game next week competitive and fun!
Java MonkeysNeedless to say HUGE win for the Monkeys. I know their owner, ScreamingWeasel, was only slightly excited about the win

Scooter McPhee is a great kicker who game up huge with 5 field goals this game! He alone outscored the Lowriders. Stay positive, and continue to build. We are rooting for you, and are glad to have you in the conference!

Flathead Just Go Krazy The team suffered another loss. Blastersam is slowbuilding, so don't judge them just yet. They have predicted a championship next season, so keep your eyes on this squad!
