I'd be happy with a top 4 finish for our 1st year in the Pros. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming season.

I think all we ask is that your team attempts to blend in a bit better. We really value this league. We have a lot of ideas and little things we do in this forum that makes this league fun, and we all try to represent the WEPL as best as we can. We have rivalry trophies, wagering, tipping, all-star voting, a feature newsletter, and we've even been slowly putting together a Fantasy WEPL league (mostly thanks to Mike Rogers).

Every team in this league has a league-first attitude. We support each other on the forums while we try to beat each other in games.

The thing that really upset me is the Pimps "me, me, me" attitude that they brought into this league. One of the first posts I've seen from you guys was, "This league blows". That's the kind of thing that makes you not welcome here. We'd love to have you here, but you really have to represent us better in this game. Try and be a bit more proud of the league, and not just yourselves.

I completely understand team-pride, but you take it too far and it makes you guys come off as a selfish team with nothing to offer the rest of this league.

Not everybody in this league is a Rivals Mainboard Pimp. All I'm saying is, we have a good thing going on here. I'd just like to see you guys support it rather than making this whole thing about you.

It's been known that they're in this league for almost a week now and if they were going to completely fuck over our forum they could have done it by now. I, for one, think they deserve to be given a fair chance without all the pre-emptive "behave yourself" talk.

Constantly calling them out will likely just instigate it. That's probably how I would respond. Just let them start with a clean slate and maybe they will surprise us.

In all seriousness, I'm glad you guys have that league pride going for you. That's awesome. We are going to do what we do, and if that fits in, great, if not then it is what it is. We are not going to try and conform to do things just because "that is how they have been." We like doing those same things that you were talking about, but we just come off in a different way. I'm sure the majority of the league won't like that or us. But the sooner you guys realize that we could give a flying f*ck if you guys like us or not the better off it will be. We tend to enjoy being the team that is hated, it was always funny when we lost because the other teams would have 4-5 threads devoted just to that topic. We don't plan on coming in here and winning the league the first year, but we do intend to have fun. We don't really mind being at odds with everyone, but posts like this make it seem like we already are.

As manchild mentioned we have been fairly tame so far, why try and stir us up?

If you think we are screwing with your forum you are just a fool in the wings. This is like a leak from the arrogant, pretentious, pompous, self obsessed dam that will flood this forum like sea-side city in a hurricane. Consider yourselves lucky you have only but a taste from the 4 course meal that is, THE Rivals Mainboard Pimps.

I like what he said.

If we REALLY wanted to destroy this forum, we would've completed that task in less than 2 hours. Some of our players like to talk more smack than others. Some have witty comments. Some like to actually have conversations with other teams.

But if some of you guys think this is bad, you're sorely mistaken. I think guys like T-Noles should get a clean slate here in the new forum. He's really the only one who started outrageous threads in the other forums.

What I don't appreciate is that before we even made it here, no one wanted us. You guys just expected that we would spam the hell out of this place. I respect every person, and every team here in the pro league and I ask for that same respect from you all. It takes hard work to make it here and its even harder to continue to be able to compete with these great teams every season. We made it over the hump and finally made it to where we want to be. With that in mind, I think we are going to tone down the trash talk a bit. BUT don't ask us to completely change. We are known for being outspoken so we aren't going to completely change and become what some of you guys are.

No disrespect here, just asking for some of you guys to take a chill pill and have a good time. We can be serious with this game just the same as you guys, but we also like to have fun. And I think a few friendly jabs here and there are perfectly fine, so quit your bitchen your pro league stiffs!

No disrespect to the Pimps, and no disrespect to the other Pro teams, but seriously let's give the Pimps a chance here. They've earned their slot in the league, and let's give them the benefit of the doubt here, and allow them that clean slate. They may blend in, they may fit in, they may do the opposite, but let's just let them do what they will do.

I for one think the Pimps should be welcome here. Diversity is key to creating the most fun league and forum possible. And, at the end of the day the Pimps are a fun and talented team. They have a personality -- yes, it might be cocky, arrogant or even trouble making at times, but that's what makes it fun.

If everyone in the league acts the same, or gets along, follows the same decorum etc, then you wind up with a very dull league with no real rivalries, no real fun. You'll wind up with thread after thread of the same re-hashed conversations.

Personally, all of the Pimps crack me up even T-Noles (though he could stand to be a bit more original) because they are just stirring the pot and having fun. If you really look at their posts (even the ridiculous ones) they never bash other people, players or teams. It's more tongue in cheek and "making fun" not spitting on people. And, when they do lose, it makes it that much more fun (for them and the rest).

I don't want a forum where everyone walks on egg shells or bows down to the League. That's just dull. We need bad guys. We need funny guys. We need fun. Otherwise, what's the point?
