The East has just always been tougher at the top.

The East sees the top teams as "tougher" because they have more cupcake games at the bottom. Play a bunch of crappy teams, then when you actually have to play a good one it is easy to say to yourself "wow, these top teams are tough"

In the West you have more tough games. It doesn't make the top teams any less tough than the the Eastern ones but with fewer cupcake games they don't enjoy the same perception.

People think Eastern teams are better because the top teams stand out more from the bottom teams, leading to the perception of "tough" teams.

Again ya'll it's the complete biasness of the Eastern team GM's that are on here all the time compared to many Western Conference GM's who usually just sit back and stay out of the forums for the most part. What I think that's funny is Sam still considers the Eastern Conference superior when he had to pretty much give up in the West because his team there was taking so many beat downs.

I couldn't of said it any better. How is the East better when you had to give up your team in the West because you couldn't hang.

Do the Mustangs still count as hanging? J/p

You have got to be kidding me. Who made the rumor that I had to take it down because I could not not handle it? It surely never came from my mouth.

Yea, the bottom team in the East starting next season (basing it on this season) will be Firefox, whose starters are mostly in their low-mid 20's.

You could actually make an argument that the Bucks in the West are going to be the biggest cupcake team in the league. I think the tides have finally shifted completely, so the top of the competition in the East is the toughest and the bottom doesn't have any auto-win teams.

I hear Mozilla is getting a revamp with some pretty good players.

Are you crazy? Who would look forward to playing them?

Or it could be that he had 7 key players jump ship on him. But you guys just keep thinking that people are afraid of your conference.

In week 16 of the regular season the west was 10-6 against the east. 7 of the 8 West playoff teams won against the east (all except the #8 seed losing to the east #2). Meanwhile the East seeds #1,#3, and #5 all lost to the west.
10-6 SON
The West is THE BEST!

Maybe, but they all have big hearts.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

They now have a new crappy GM for sure, though. So you can expect...

- a couple solid new players coming in.
- lame tactics to assure any upgraded skills are offset by mediocre game planning.

Nothing to see here. Please move along.

So who wants first shot at us in the league title game next season?

So whats it like owning every player on your team?

Jed,
I'm new in USA Pro, so maybe I'm out of line here, but where is the proof about all of the top teams being in the East?

In Season 2, if I read everything correctly, the West beat the East in the Week 16 games more times than not. Then the West followed that up by shutting out the defending champ in the Bort Bowl.

In season 3, The West again beat the East in the week 16 matchups, and this year's Bort Bowl looks like it's going to be a tough game no matter which 4 of the teams make it.

So, why the continued dissing of the West? I seriously don't understand it.

Because the top teams of the East are egotistic and don't realize how good the West really is. We only have Week 16 games (which obviously don't matter in their eyes) and the "Bort Bowl" to decide this, so it is hard to prove the theory wrong.

I have coached in the West and have had players in both conferences... The East is much better

Horse shit!! WTF are u basing this on bro? I'd really like to know.

It's OK to be passionate but let's not curse.

k horse poo that work for you

I'm fine with that.

I'd like to extend this congrats to the Boston Nighthawks and Las Vegas Freebirds, and welcome them too.
