We did beat them in the regular season. And we lost by 1 in the playoffs. Again, it's not as clear cut as win/lose, at least in my case. The flaws still present in this game just go to show that the money I spent on this game to have fun with friends could have been spent elsewhere with better results.

Good luck to you and your team next season. You obviously enjoy this game much more than I.

Seems like some people miss the point. If you look at the cheaters record, it's pretty clear they aren't great game planners and won on higher levels. Next season they won't be all that. For those who are a little slow, the problem isn't that they were big and scary, the problem is that they did something they shouldn't have and screwed up the competition and fun we had going here. The sob story just doesn't excuse that. There are plenty of gutted teams at their level they could have gone to.

Any community ends up with more rules (which makes things less fun) because of tools who are always looking for a shortcut and don't care about anything but winning no matter what. That's why they get treated like the stinky kid on the playground. They violated the spirit of the game.

I do agree that the attention whores got too much attention. The stinky kid usually does get picked on a lot, though.

Wait, I remember. Some dude that never posts on our threads jumped in on Artadius' post about quiting this game because of Moronoxide's team. Caprica lost to them last night and I guess he took it hard. So loser boy, as he shall now be dubbed, rode in on his high horse and slammed everyone in sight about the fact that they are pissed about Moronoxide's team. Called them crybabies and all, flexed his internet muscles and basically grandstanded about how he was superior to all us mere mortals. Well I wasn't having any of it. Then matta, loser boys teammate, jumped in and attacked me for daring to stand up to loser boy. He tried to call me out but proved to be unable to click the correct button and screwed his info all up and promptly logged off. This Acid guy then took time off from Papa John's to call me out for standing up to loser boy .... Acid also being a teammate of loser boy. You know, that's one thing they all have in common! They all own teams that can't win more than 3 games!

So that's where we stand. I doubt it's over yet

And once again, going way off topic, and this has gotten very boring now. Cheap shots for no reason because your a sad little girl. I have had enough of this topic.

ok.. so to recap
we can all agree that what Albuquerque did was very lame. obviously a sissy move that borders on cheating

but.. complaints should have been made to the admins/mods. If no action was taken, then someone at a higher level didnt find it as cheating.

at which point, it all became a little excessive how much everyone obsessed over it. Sure, they suck.. they drain some of the fun out of the game.. but its drains alot more out of it to get too caught up on the things you cant change.

on this thread.. it definitly is a pet peeve of alot of people when someone posts an, "I quit, I'm taking my ball and going home" thread. They really arent necessary and only add to the overall mix that drains the fun from the game for the rest of us.

not really much point to throwing personal attacks at each other.. and bringing up other teams outside of the league though. The topics at hand should only be the obsession with Albuquerque, and whether individual threads are needed to state displeasure in the situation and let us know that you're leaving.
If it was up to me.. i would lock this thread, that thread, and say play ball.. but Im guessing the pissing contest isnt over
someone wake me when it is.

Sequtugh, way to stick up for the masses, the fact that you are from the east makes it even more impressive. The events that have happened in the bbb15 have sucked the life out of most of the West, We can't even put a pro bowl team together, nobody cares anymore.

I guess you were asleep when that all broke out, or didn't want to bother reading thru that long ass post. Long story short since you must have missed it - complaints were filed before season 3 started by at least three people, me being one of them. I personally had a moderator I trust look into the situation and the responses I got were all about how it was obviously a gutting/colusion scenario. Other people got similar responses. However, someone in the chain of command waffled and let them stay. Now this all could have been avoided if we had been told from the start by those mods that yes, it sucked but no, they weren't going to do anything about it. Or if Bort would have moved them - and yes, there were teams available to make the move. But to be told one thing and have something else occur ... it makes it seem like they cheated, got caught, and still got away with it. So yeah, some people are extremely bitter about it. I'm lucky and play in the east but I understand how any western team would feel... except I guess DVD. You guys must obviously be superior to us all, so hats off to you.
