tim, arguments can be made in either direction.
speaking of which, what are the records of the teams fighting for that 8th seed in the east?

never mind. i know the answer.

High five to Okole for pointing out the obvious.

You guys like to talk about how balanced the West is, yet you still have one more team with 10+ wins then we do. Then begin to berate us for being top heavy.

Quit trying to make your league sound better then it is, when the standing say otherwise.

The standings don't say anything.... It's apples to oranges, lol. The East is definitely more balanced than last year though.

the standings don't say otherwise.... if you read my entire post, i started out by saying that arguments can be made for both sides.

the games this week will be indicative to one degree or another. the debate will continue perpetually. yada yada

the east has 6 teams with 4 or fewer wins
the west has 4

(i put the smileys there just for you, tim....a personal touch so you don't feel berated by my posts)

Those of you who said you would transfer to the East may be more likely to make the playoffs in the East, but would you survive the playoffs? That's a whole other question.

games this week still don't mean a thing considering there's no baseline. It's not as if each team has a matchup against every team in the other conference where you'd then be able to get some meaning behind it, lol

careful....that sounds a little too much like the "the east is top heavy" argument that offends some people in here.

ledyard2000 - that's why i said "to one degree or another"....they'll say a little, but not enough to draw any solid conclusions.

Because it was a fluke game last season.

30-0 doesn't say fluke; 30-0 says that Switchgear got his game plan right.
Luck can account for so much, but for that score differential with the title on the line, you're pushing credibility to say it was a fluke result. Fluke score? I'll buy that.

Now if Tim Harper was in the Western Conference, things may be a bit different.

Very true. The Extreme would have been playing somebody else for the Championship.

Well you guys have a chance to prove you'd be an east playoff team. You get #7 in the east.

the spreadsheet has some errors when it comes to the week 16 games. the numbers from the east and west tabs don't match for any of the games.

we're on our own for this week

Oh, cool, so at least some of our scouting was more legit
