I can respect a ballot like that. I wonder out loud (via the keyboard) how no one from one of the conferences best defenses didn't make your ballot. 2nd Passing Defense, 4th Passing Defense, 2nd in pts/scored. I am obviously biased but CB abe rodriquez deserves some love, so does LB Chester Bushman, and Barry Silverstreak meant more to our defense during the toughest stretch of the season racking up 26 tackles, 7 sacks, and 1 Int against the leagues top offenses.

I thought his ballot was pretty spot on, to be honest.

Not entirely stat based, but if you go over them all, they all make sense.

For all those searching for Coach of year, FYI Loaks and Canton started out 1-8 last year and ended 7-9, won all 4 scrimmage games and are 15-2 on year. Thats 25-3 since starting 1-8 to begin the HOF Dynasty.

Just some info you might not know...

Really the HOF success has been a true team effort. We have no individuals who stand out as everyone shares in the tackling, sacks, ints etc. Heck look at our offense with Bruiser having 9 rushing TDs as the back up FB. I like the balance and would rather have that golden trophy then have multiple players on the Pro Bowl ballot.

Although I do think Abe deserves some love. 2 pick 6s and 2 PR TDs was pretty exciting. Especially because of the limited PR opportunities we gave him. He had more TDs than the majority of the offensive skill positions in the conference.

Here is my ballot as a representative of the HOF. PM sent to tomahawk53 (thanks for getting this organized by the way)

Rules are simple:

- No voting for players on your own team, that's it

Format is like this:

Offensive Player of the Year:

1) Timothy Tebow
2) Elvis Rhodes
3) LJ Justice

Defensive Player of the Year:

1) Sly Savage
2) Trevor Kidd
3) General Justice

Special Teamer of the Year:

1) Pack "Man" Jones
2) Meggan Fox
3) Rat Rod Ralphie

GM/Owner/Coach of the Year:

1)j4m2f0rm0d (I think)
2) randomguymike
3) booz

And then for the Pro Bowl team, fill in this with players from your conference but not on your own team:

Starting offense:

QB: Timothy Tebow
HB: Elvis Rhodes
FB: Kara Thrace
WR1: LJ Justice
WR2: Throwit Here
TE: Kellen Winslow Jr
OT: Jim Bank
OT: Gold Power
OG: Hugh Jasse
OG: Rosevelt Jones
C: Bill Wallace

Starting defense:

DE: Trevor Kidd
DE: Aron Kampman
DT: Bill "The Stopper" Stevenson
DT: Bam Bruthless
OLB: General Justice
MLB: Nathan Fitzgerald
OLB: Tameka DEALIN IT OUT! (he/she played LOLB but I don't think it matters for PB)
CB1: Sly Savage
CB2: Vegitto Hogan
SS: Sledge Hamma
FS: Bringit Allday

Special teams:

K: Meggan Fox
P: Rat Rod Ralphie
KR: Demetrius Vazlar
PR: Pack "Man" Jones

You can fill out one, both, or neither, up to you. Preferably I'd like to have every team rep do both to get the most accurate sample but do whatever you'd like

Just somethign to point out, I find it odd that sanderval doesn't get more votes for owner of the year. He put together a rather competitive team, and basically kept the forums afloat for like 14 games of the season.

As far as lobbying for my guys, note:
-Troy Vogel led the east in PR yards and had a solid season on PR AND on defense.
-For our offenseive line, look at what your top pass rushers did against us (typically nothing). We also had a heavy rotation, so Friglade, for instance got 70 pancakes splitting time almost evenly with Peppers.
-On defense Stopper has already gotten some notice and deserves it.
-and our punter Dvorak was a beast again this season.

i like it how nobody from the Heat has been "voted" on even though we have the #2 team in the West. just find it a little ironic i guess..
