Just my 2 cents added to this dramafest......

I don't think anyone needs to "talk" to Bort, but it would be nice to see him post once in awhile and log in. How can anyone have confidence in anything that they paid their money to play if the coder doesn't even log in for lengths of time? I don't think anyone is asking for Bort to kiss their butt or for him to come take abuse from users, just for him to at least give the appearance of being around.

IMHO GLB1 messed up when they gave the 70% return on flex. Had they not done that, then this game would likely be dead (I think I am one of the few that has bought flex recently). Since they did do the 70% return on flex option, you have so many guys that realized that even though the game is slowly being abandoned, they still have 100,000+ in flex and 2 free players, so they will likely be playing for another year or two (if there is anyone left to compete against).

Again, only MHO, but GLB1 should have offered monthly packages in the beginning and then people could start and stop when they felt the need AND they wouldn't have money/flex left on the table.

I have no clue about GLB2 tbh as I like GLB1. I'm not saying it is a bad game, just that after learning this game over the past 6 (?) years, it seems a waste to me, to run learn a new football game and basically start over. I can see the appeal to some, I guess, but most of us that are remaining have a LOT of time and money invested here.

They messed up by giving 70% back but had they not done that the game would be dead? Well played logic.

Well now, this raises an interesting question that really hadn't occurred to me. After months and months of forum rage here about GLB2, jokers leaving negative reviews of our iOS games because they're not GLB1, Facebook comments about GLB2 sucks because it's not GLB, etc.), you guys have made it very clear that if it's not GLB1 you don't want to hear about it. Everything we've seen here lately indicates that you (or, at least, the loudest among you) are either not interested in OR are openly hostile to news about non-GLB1 projects. Like, if it's not GLB1 it sucks so don't bother, I don't even want to know about it.

If I've got that wrong, let me know. Keeping in mind that any updates Bort has to share these days are probably not going to relate to GLB1, is that still stuff you guys want to hear about? If you are actually interested in the new stuff, I'll lobby for some kind of update(s). No guarantees there, obviously, but if you are seriously interested, I can bring it up.

Do you remember the Q&A where Catch didn't show up and Bort kicked it with us in that thread? Do you remember how great that thread was? Spare me the "omg people gonna be mean to Bort" schtick.

Yo euchrid of course we want updates on anything and everything going on regardless of what game that happens to be.

But the games other than GLB1 DO suck. At least in comparison to GLB1. I have yet to try mighty brawlers yet... but the fapping beard and the duece are both pretty bad in comparison to GLB1, and neither will be around for 5 years+ like GLB1 has been.

I couldn't care less if Bort post again , ever, though. So

I don't recall any Q+A with Bort, even in the early seasons that was a bitch fest.
I recall most of them being very informative and for the most part agents were respectful.
Of course as staff you, Euchrid, are entitled to your opinion but as a paying customer I am also entitled to mine.
The fact that you have to "report" to him speaks volumes...

Only speaking for myself here, but you are missing my point.

I don't honestly care about other games and tbh ANY Admin can post announcements to discuss those updates.

All I am saying is an appearance, an occasional post in such threads as this and other bug or suggestion type threads.

While I didn't always like Catch22, someone that is around more like he was.... and like it or not, when Catch was here, he helped to get Bort to check in periodically.

What I get from your responses to us is that it is more important for him to spend 8 solid hours a day (just as an example) working on new games, rather than spending 7 hrs and 45 minutes on the new game and 15 minutes visiting his first game, which should always be his baby since without it there never is a game 2, game 3, etc....

Is it supposed to raise our confidence level that a few minutes here and there on a somewhat regular basis is too much to ask for? Heck, as someone else mentioned, if Bort is too busy or even too lazy, someone else could even log into his account and post a few times to at least give the impression that he gives a sh*t.

Seriously guys, this isn't rocket science...... it IS good common sense though.
