I used to hate the Tecmo Replays over there, but they are becoming more and more fun. I still love seeing my dot move around, though.

Eh ... maybe I can find a way to make both games a little more enjoyable.

More and more fun how?

The replays drive me nuts there, but have not watched one in a while

As Bhall said, you can actually see players interacting. It's not just little circles running into each other then shrinking on a pancake or missed tackle. Over there when a spin SA or juke SA fires you actually see a mini person spin or juke. Honestly, I couldn't stand the graphics over there in season 1 but now I actually love it and realize how dumb watching dots is.

Circles, toons, turkeys, whatever, a pixel's a pixel, this is a strategy game. The graphics on 2 are a joke because they are an "upgrade" to a part of the game that never mattered while the whole rest of the game is a downgrade of Classic; less options, less strategy, spoon-fed player building....All the returning agents they got over there will bail quicker than they bailed on Classic.

a mini person spinning ... how exciting !

watching / playing most video games is DUMB ... the strategy available with 1 is somewhat redeeming ... 2 is just pathetic

Truth.

What they should have done with GLB2 was make it a GM/owner type of game with players being randomly generated to end build (i.e. no more player building). Perhaps you can enhance players on your team (or whatever) but the goal is to bring your team up thru the ranks. This is what people who found the player building model too complicated would prefer to do...its bothersome for them to learn how to build optimally because they just want to put the pieces together & watch the game play out.

Then you could truly have 2 distinct games that would appeal to different types of people and many that overlap. I'm sure there is some overlap right now but its not for the reasons you'd want if you are trying to gain "all people looking for football-ish games". The "story" of having 2 football games would make more sense to users & they could continue to make small enhancements to GLB Classic as time permits to prove that to the users.

Exactly, and since it takes half a day to get GLB2 replays to load, wtf is the point?

Is there any team that has reach the high ranks yet?
Watching dots with legs and arms running through mud is blah, dots or armed/legged dots.

Still can't understand why it takes you so long to load them....
