well, hopefully you're the only person who's stopped paying attention to glb1 so he can focus on glb2... otherwise bort would look pretty silly for creating a game that splits his dwindling user base.

I'm guessing the activity on GLB2 and the flex sales from this past Black Friday were both much lower than they were hoping for. I am not pulling for Warrior General to fail because I genuinely like GLB1 and wish it was more successful, but my expectation is that the whole company folds before the end of 2015.

If it weren't for the fact that I've promised dots to so many teams here, I would have done the same already. GLB2 is just much easier for agents with 0 cares who are sticking around to use up flex. If it wouldn't make me feel like a total asshole for abandoning some of the friends I've made on here, I'd retire all but two or three of my classic dots and just play 2.

It's easier to build a lot of dots but I haven't enjoyed playing the game. The forums are worse then 1 and I really don't see that improving.

Games in 2/3 of the days is great, and the movement of the top teams on the ladder shows that there is still a lot of skill in GLB2.

Building a player in GLB2 isn't "hard", which makes it better for the casual player. The best player builders, and the teams with the most cares in GLB2 are still going to win, but the time it takes to become great is under 48 hours if you watch 8 or 9 sims and make adjustments.

You don't have to spend two years to start assigning your SAs in GLB2, so those that stick around are going to see games that matter from rookie to plateau. The player builder in GLB1 has a ton of customization, but who wants to wait 9 seasons to start seeing FFs and INTs from those builds?

In GLB1, you get the rookie leagues dominated by Pee Wee building teams and it takes three seasons to really sort out the leagues into the Elite and the rest. Because of the ladder, you can get elite games in every season under the new structure.

It isn't for everyone, but there's a lot of people who are really liking it.

A lot of people playing? Every time I look around all the forums look more dead then 1 and we all know how much it has fallen off here. There hasn't been a post my league forum since the 3 game of the season.

1 has been dead and 2's future is looking meh

Meh, our league forum was dead up until I started talking about the games and other people joined in. Nibs is pretty helpful for getting a league forum active. I think what they need is more people to do fluff stuff like rankings and predictions. Gives a bit more for conversation. The upside for GLB2 is it is a work in progress. GLB1 is what it is at this point and is continually falling each season. That isn't a good sign. Still wondering if it is even worth starting a new team here next season.

So that means if I can get the team that I started ocing for into the show (being that I would prlly be a average oc at best) we wouldn't have to go up against experience oc's like you then.
there is still hope for us little people

GLB2 >>>>>>> GLB1 rookie

Just way more fun.

Now if they could just get their playoff OT rules setup right.

I agree!!! People like LordEvil and andersonba1210, burgerkang et al in PeeWee keep the forums active.

Suggest GLB offer flex point incentives if you constructively keep a forum moving. Or better yet, assign forum mod status to a few of the dot builders like the aformentioned peeps and give them some flex per season if they keep their forum active with stats or rankings or predictions.

F**K this guys are half the reason this is still alive.

YEP!

Tried glb2 and it just does nothing for me. It looks like a poor attempt at atari. At least GLB1 doesn't pretend to be anything else.
There is even more shortage of teams and players over there......they'll be back!

GLB will pay mod for locking thread.
GLB won't pay people who keep forum active.
