Insta 79's would just be a last ditch effort to keep this game alive a little longer. The much larger picture is that the game is stagnant and isn't going anywhere that is going to appeal to a very large amount of people beyond the first couple run throughs of different builds they always wanted to see immediately.

With it being a new product still in development I couldn't really give an answer to that. As raw as it is people already seem to enjoy it somewhat.

I guess I am just not clinging to the hopes that GLB1 is going to magically find its place in the hearts of everyone who has quit along the way for one reason or another.

The issue is this, id say roughly half the dots who are not 79 here are on teams who make zero efforts to AI's for seasons on end. It's basically some tryhard teams beating up on CPU or no cares farm teams. I don't think by eliminating the farm squads and replacing with CPU teams is making things much diff. There are a lot of teams in elite who do try early on and I think that is why the extra boosting should be optional, just leave the elite leagues to teams who want to compete from rookie on up. Also, it can be pretty tough to find decent dots at certain positions especially later on, if your squad loses a blocking FB at lvl 50 well now u can solve the issue by boosting one to 50, or your WL team can't find that last CB because nobody knows how to build worth a shit anymore, now Tomcic just says hey Sellars build me a dot for Miami, seems decent to me

Insta 79's would keep me going here, im not sure i have much left in the tank unless we can skip the half a year building stage of mathematics and make it about football and gameplanning.

ldo that is how it works. But thinking that it is gonna rejuvenate the magic of GLB is fools talk. People aren't even keeping their dots that they spent 2 years slaving over for their full plateau period.

You may be right, games die off but there hasn't been anything done to bring new users in which is main issue. The game itself has gotten better but the user base has fallen off with no new blood.

This or cheaper rates would increase my interest here.

I have a very viable suggestion to add, did it about a year ago. No one cares that matters here though, i would be wasting keyboard strokes typing this simple plan......

Well the 79 would be a boom. More cost in a smaller amount of time + people could recruit in pro/WL easier.

If they made a few decent games to keep the users in the loop and updated GLB, players could come back for another go. I quit for a couple years and came back to find a new training system etc that kept my interest. Unfortunately GLB2 from what I've seen is pretty substandard and they've decided to let GLB1 completely stagnate.

To survive they're going to have to release another new product (ideally a different sport) within a few seasons. Because having seen the early incarnation of the GLB2 endgame I don't think it will have nearly the staying power of GLB1 due to its lack of depth and simplicity.

im not holding my breath for anything in GLB1 outside of new plays or formations. But we probably won't even see that without a dramatic increase in users. There is a reason GLB2 was formed and part of that is that this game wasn't going anywhere in terms of workable fixes.

I do agree though some more games will have to be added to the pipeline in order to keep the loop in tact. Granted that will probably come at the cost of GLB2 never reaching the potential it probably could taking into consideration the short order of coders they have and all the man power and time it took to get this one up and running.
