You need 5 friends to get to the next level.

I am sure GLB wouldn't be much fun to you if me and you played each other 20 times a day in scrimmages and then they made a change that wiped all those scrimmages to meaningless nothing. With no league competition people just kind of check out after not so long.

You throw a leaderboard and a .gif in the mix and things can change rather quickly.

Not the reason for the disinterest in my opinion. We need more structure and better and especially more consistent communication, but going beta will be better anyway so it's all good. I don't think you can balance a game like this without thousands of people playing and trying to win at all costs.

I dunno I think you can still spend a decent amount of time in the AI's. Sure you aren't actually laying out the progressions but you are given the concept of making packages.

It will be far more intuitive offensively for people. Defense I still think is a bit confusing at times as you don't have a direct understanding of who covers who until you watch the play unfold in the sim currently.

So we all start with a Redskins style of D, awesome

It is what got all of my money fwiw. Building here is like graduate school. Weeds out all the noobs.

That, and debating endgame balance is pointless.

After the 7-8 months or whatever it takes to get there, there's going to probably be pretty significant changes to the game. As long as low level play looks alright, and it seemed to look pretty good, then it really doesn't matter.

More structure would be for a more adapted game and knowing what we are looking for in testing. This is just an open alright if you guys see anything let us know so we can fix it before launch. But ya that is another reason for disinterest. Plus I still am not a huge fan of the horizontal replays.

I'm sure someone will make a vertical dot replay rewrite lol

That conversion seems easier than those awful dot to sprite conversions people tried back in the day.

That would be pretty awesome. Would definitely escalate my interest if done right.

Then Mission Accomplished!

You get 3 respecs so as DB said, as long as you don't screw up your base attributes initially you will have lots of flexibility to deal with sim changes.

Hope so. "Alfred Morris makes one cut and gets horizontal quickly" really messes with my immersion.

Honestly, I think defense would make more sense with just a playbook for the number of WRs.

The advanced tactics thing with zone percentage and blitz percentage and stuff is just confusing to me.
