There's not that much advantage to be gained from it tbh.

After selecting your starting attributes and picking 3 traits, which are all pretty intuitive(there's nothing you can do to make a build more efficient beyond this stage); then you just hit the + button and make your skills go up as you gain SP's, if you screw up you wait to see a productive open build, respec your dot and copy it. There's no build process, or how did they do that, it's just pure skill point distribution.

Being in the GLB1 Alpha would have been a pretty big advantage, not so much for GLB2.

It's still in early Alpha though so I wouldn't be shocked if they did spice up the build process some.

To me this only works if we have the same ole crappy sim that can't do anything but the same thing over and over. All of the building will be based on if we have smarter sim imo. 1.0 was totally built for speed only , nothing else IMO. If 2.0 has a better leverage vs attributes we may actually be able to build stand alone players in some regard. Let's get real here we always had many places to put sp's but more than half of them were rarely ever used , if there is enough counter spots in 2.0 , builds should come out different and you won't need to copy like it's done here. At least that's what i'm hoping lmao.

Of course you have an advantage.

What he is saying is that he spends a bunch of time trying to Udate people on the game and your still bitching...

Noplace in the Alpha test did it state that he needed to keep the players of GLB1 up to date...

Trust me TT is busting his butt ... don't hate the guy thats trying to help everyone get a handle on the new game...

He's posted more then anyone else i know.. myself included... he's all Ninja on this ,,,

go find the fourm where they are keeping all the Q & A and info and all that stuff... there is a bunch of very helpful data

so far i am seeing this... we are still in season 1.. but I LOVE that I can adjust on the fly.. spend my points on what makes sense and not SPEED or STR first till you hit 80....

I love it.. so far I tink every dot has the ability to e a game changer... again it's early! but you sould like me... I think you will like it... hit me up any time for an update! I don't always remember to post...

Yeah i'm taking notes and belong to phrogs forum too. I like this because this is what I thought 1.0 would end up as and I guess it is in a sense. I'm sitting on over 11k in flex and 2 free players here so that tells anyone where I was with this game. I probably spent a nice chunk in my 5 years here too. I'll only spend more if the game becomes fun and not a math test so much lol.

I think this is what we could have had in GLB1.0 had they done away with the ALG's.

if you feel the only chance you had to be good at glb 2 was if you found it first...you probably werent going to be that good anyways.

No training breakthroughs would make it fairer.

This game has been so rampant with cheating and insider information for so long we just all accept some getting an advantage and play anyway. No biggie.
