It happened 12 years ago and on the scale of things it wasn't even much of a tragedy.
You are a piece of shit.
Oh no, 3000 people did.
Big deal.
I mean it's not anywhere near as bad as say The Cambodian Genocide for example and how many people remember that?
Face it, Americans need to wake up and realize they aren't precious little princesses and that 9/11 was tiny on the scale of things.

The last I checked, white phosphorous isn't considered a chemical weapon anymore than smokeless powder is.
Last time I checked it was banned by the Geneva Convention and the Chemical Weapons Convention (you know, those treaties our government keeps harping about Assad breaking, with zero evidence that he actually did) when used as a weapon, which it was in both Afghanistan and Iraq.

I don't disagree with what you are saying. But you are omitting the fact that these are still 3,000 people that died, how much more were injured? how many people have been grieving and you aren't accounting for the fear effect created around this event.
Of course americans doesn't remember the Cambodian Genocide, if it didn't occured on their soil, why would they care?
Also, the way you posted it sounds pretty incensitive which might turn off others away from the message you are trying to convey.

So if I came to your house and killed your entire family, you'd have no reason to be sad or angry.
You're also an idiot if you don't realize how many people have died as a result of 9/11. It was a single act, and it's been responsible for the death of many more thousands (or millions) since then.

Nope, it's only banned in certain situations.
Do your research.

The intelligence gathered against Syria’s Assad was manufactured by elements within the spy community in order to mislead the US President to take punitive action, Ray McGovern, a veteran CIA analyst, told RT.

I have. It's banned when it is used as a weapon. Which is exactly what I said.

I think what she's trying to say is that in the grand scheme of things, 3000 dead is not a 'major tragedy'.
what she is neglecting to take into account is that it was the first attack of that sort that occurred on American soil. to me, that is the much bigger deal than the actual number of people killed/injured.

It is a major tragedy. I assume that genocide happened in one single swipe, in the matter of minutes. You're right, the number of people that actually died is of little consequence, and it's fallacy to use it as the only yardstick to judge the event.
Not to mention, as I stated, the number of people that have died as a direct result of the event on 9/11/01.

It's been authorized for use as illumination over enemy positions. If it falls on them, whatever. That's the way it is.
Nothing about war is pretty. It hurts to get shot, burned, exploded, or eviscerated.
