The old 2-major archetypes with the +1% main attribute VAs and +75% to any given roll...and the two percentage bonus AEQs. There could theoretically be a piece that gave +10 speed, +25% break tackle, +25% fake chance.

Centers always sucked at pancakes even when they had 170+ strength. You don't get pancakes against 130+ strength DL. And if you want to watch dots doing things: http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=2417503

you must have missed the first 14 seasons where centers led the league in pancakes.....

Remember back when any running quarterback was a combination Colin Kaepernick/Michael Vick-before-the-dogs guy, and routinely led multiple teams in rushing in any given conference?

Oh wait my bad, that's now.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=769091 *shrug* The only time centers got a lot of pancakes was in early seasons when DL hadn't built up strength yet and when they faced CPUs, since CPUs used to be embarrassingly bad.

Could be, but that wasn't my experience. Every high-pancake center I've seen did his damage in 255 games.
