why would they do that? The staff here has been so professional and never taken the user base for granted or over moderated them.

90% or better of the people at the new games will probably be GLB users past or present anyway. lol

Because the bittersauce they bring with them will poison the new game.

Imagine if GLB in season 1 had a bunch of people who had played GLB for 30 seasons come in and pretend that they own the place and that there is already a pecking order, etc.

It took at least a year before the bitter kicked in and made GLB start to make the game more and more inaccessible.

I'd love it if Bort announced one day, "by the way, the new game has been up and running for five months already in the Beta. Feel free to stop by and introduce yourselves to the 100,000 people already playing it." lol.

That is a pretty terrible idea, tbh.

Actually I've played QWOP for longer then 5 months, so that's not true TT.

The very fact that you think so makes me think otherwise.

GLB got off the ground without relying on people from one of Bort's other games coming in to make it happen.

New blood is what the new game needs. Not this old poison blood, at least not in the early stages.

Regular QWOP, yes. Dot QWOP? Probably not.

Actually I think most of GLB came from Cyberdunk. Which is how I found this contraption.

DOT QWOP would be awesome. Although dots are already good at humping things.

Actually, this game got off the ground from the current userbase and others that have long departed spamming referral links all over the internet. The internet is really a much smaller world than you think.

How in the world do you come out with TWO Warrior General games and keep it hidden from the only people on God's green earth that even know who in the hell Warrior General Games is while attracting new users to the game? I mean, this is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard.

I hope he does well, but I haven't seen GLB being inaccessible.

It wouldn't surprise me though if they do it just like that. Why would they want to please any of the GLB faithful. Hasn't really been their business model.

I think they should just jack the Mike Tyson's Punch Out game and improve it
