If there are six zones (ignoring the 1/4s 1/5s for simplicity),
ABC
DEF
then let the dots stay in those six zones unless running with a receiver going through the deep zone.
If for some reason the middle third deep is actually meant to be
=B=
A=C
DEF
Then call it Middle Extra Deep Third give us a freaking real Middle Deep Third that is in between A and C.
There is no logical reason for the middle zone to HAVE to leave a gap under him if he is not running with a receiver. None.
Yeah. But since no one is likely to fix this anytime soon, in the meantime, try bringing the SS down a little bit while maintaining the same zone setting. There's a sweet spot for the vision check to get what you're looking for. Find it. The way dots are aligned presnap have a pretty big impact on how the dot plays in that zone after the snap, from my limited experience.
