T2, it kind of got missed due to the number of replies, I was basing my original comment on the fact that i took 5 games from the 4 teams my dots are on, Both teams averaged 40 rushes and 50 throws a game, So, that is 90 plays a game times 5 games times 4 teams. That is 1800 plays. In those 18 hundred plays there was one sack, no fumbles and no interceptions (among all defensive players from all 4 teams AND THE OPPONENTS. Now my dots are rookie Dots, but so are the dots of the QB's WR's and RB's as well as the O-line.

THAT BEING SAID!!! Many players have posted links to prove it gets better as the levels get higher, So i am perfectly ok with that. But I still think in 1800 offensive plays by rookies, there should be more than ZERO turnovers and 1 sack. In two of those games, the QB was a CPU kicker.

But hey, if it gets better as the level's get higher, I am ok with it.

At those levels defensive dots just don't have the speed to get to the QB regardless of if they can get off blocks or not.

But Dark rogue, do you also think that a CB can't make an interception, or that a running back can't fumble a ball?

Just doesn't happen in low level ball, that's just the way it is. Many of us have been complaining about the low level/mid level sim for a long time now. End game it's good with comparable teams. It's just that defensive dots typically just have to be build to force fumbles or intercept passes, low level dots just don't have % gear or the supporting attributes to do any of that.

Yeah, it's cool, like I said, it happens in low level sims, it's cool, as long as I know it gets better.

Defense is ok if the coordinator is worth beans and dots are good, but it's also true - and has mostly always been true - that D is the red-headed step-child of GLB. Never going to change.

Bort's shown lots of love to the Defense, I'd say he's fucked it many many times!

or is that not the kind of love you are looking for?

If D is the red headed step child of GLB, what does that make STs?
