People read it how they want. I appreciate those that had actual things to say, rather than tell me i'm dumb.

Well, it seems a little silly to me to start a thread with an OP complaining about your dot being on a bad team, and then on Page 3 say "My one guy on a bad team doesn't bother me." Clearly it does bother you, or you wouldn't have started a thread about it.

You basically did the equivalent of picking what restaurant you're going to eat at tonight by putting the name of every restaurant in town on a dart board and throwing a dart. Your dart hit the hole-in-the-wall Chinese place with a stack of health code violations thicker than a phone book and ants crawling on the walls, and you walked in anyway, ordered dinner, and got food poisoning. And now you're posting about it online. You thought you would get a bunch of people agreeing with you that the restaurant sucked, but instead you're getting a bunch of people telling you that picking a restaurant by throwing darts is stupid, because, well, it's stupid. And your response is, "Well, I really don't care about getting food poisoning." Then why post about it in the first place?

Bad owners are an unfortunate part of the game, but one thread on a message board is not going to make a bad owner suddenly decide, "Y'know, you're right, I do have an implied moral obligation to create the best possible experience for the players who have chosen to join my team! It's high time I took that obligation seriously. Thanks for opening my eyes, Sick Daddy!" It's just not gonna happen.

As I spoke before, i wrote it snarky, not complaining. And I stated that before page 3. The post was about morale amongst human agents. That was something I wanted to touch on. If being on a bad team bothered me, I would ask for a release. I have plenty of dots on bad teams. I've over 30 dots.

I guess every thread is a complaining thread to some. If you took it as me complaining for being on a bad team, that's on the reading comprehension, not on my posting. I've been clear about the point of the post several times.

If it's not cool to post my opinions in the forum, I will refrain from taking part in this community.

I've changed your analogy a bit more to what i'm trying to say.

you invite people to your restaurant. I show up. then you tell me the food is going to suck or non existent, but if I sit here for a month, we'll have some good food.

Your restaurant is perfectly able to do this, but you won't have happy eaters. If you aren't concerned about happy eaters this month, then it's a great plan, but i'm not going to come to your restaurant next month.

It's perfectly cool to post your opinions in this forum.

What's NOT cool is to post a very strongly-written opinion and then, in the face of disagreement and derision, backpedal away from it at Warp 2 with comments like "I was just being snarky" or "Well, I really don't care about it at all anyway."

If you didn't care, you wouldn't have posted in the first place, nor would you be replying so much, so clearly you care. The more you post "I don't really care!", the more it seems you really do care. So, that's not working anyway.

As for "I was just being snarky," nothing about your OP or topic seems snarky at all, and you have a thread full of readers who didn't think you were being snarky either. Either we're all terrible at reading comprehension (and some of us are, but not everyone), or you're terrible at conveying snark in your writing and need to work on that. I'll leave it to you to decide which is more likely.

When a writer plays the "You all just don't understand me!" card, it's such a cop-out. It's basically the writer trying to dodge the need for any self-improvement at all.

you really should have known the owner was going to suck. ill say it again, ive been playing for 5 years and ive never encountered a bad owner.

im beginning to realize this is why our community is so small. stupid agents that dont know how to ask a few simple questions so they can avoid shitty situations.

also, im not saying there arent shitty owners out there but theyre easily avoidable.

ill give you a hand on getting on better teams.
1. dont whine. unless youre lexden11. all he does is cry
2. build better dots. idk how well you build since you have no one above level 7.
3. ask questions about the scheme, coordinators, history etc.
4. make friends with quality agents. hiding from the forums and then coming out of no where complaining that an owner is bad isnt a great way to have good agents like you.
5. just enjoy the game. youre in rookie. who the fuck cares if your owner is trying? its all random.

Yep, I swear there are/were tons of agents that didn't know what a personal message is or how to send one. Rather than PM me about a concern they have about their dot with my team they would wait until week 15 and go into a blind rage in the team forum.

Skip all that.

Step 1: Make a good dot
Step 2: Find a good team
Step 3: PM good team and say "sine mah gud dawt!"
Step 4: Enjoy good team while trolling threads like this.
