Yeah, all I've ever seen from scouts is a copy/paste from the scouting report.

If I could find a scout that could watch replays and link hundreds of plays and explain the significance of those plays I wouldn't be so anti-scout. Never found one willing and/or able to do that. But even then, I would still have to look at all the links so I would essentially be watching replays anyway. lol

I've offered to be a scout for numerous opposing teams.

This really isn't true in all cases.

How would you like to scout every other season for Springfield, Novus?

Pass.

Note, that could either mean "Pass every down," or "I'll pass on the opportunity." I'll let you decide.

Since you don't pass at all than I guess you mean you pass on the opportunity

That's just on the Palookas. When I was scouting for Asau, I was ONLY scouting for pass plays.

And you did so well that you decided to build a team where you would never pass again

Heh.

Nah, that was a time-management decision, actually. Scouting a team's passing defense is WAY more time-consuming than scouting a team's rushing defense. So, if you just never pass at all, scouting your opponents gets a LOT easier.

Let me clarify:

Scouting a team's passing defense is WAY more time-consuming FOR ME than scouting a team's rushing defense.

Your mileage may vary.

I've tried scouts in the past to help share the load but all were terrible except for Novus. In order to be a good scout, you must be able to recognize defenses etc.. what teams are trying to do, how they adjust and what builds/ plays would work against different setups. I trusted Novus completely to just send over a package and I would load it right into the AI without checking (well sometimes I'd look it over ) but having multiple coordinators break down each opponent is an advantage and odds were some plays from each of our packages would catch fire and auto adjust would do the work.
