jd, you're making it difficult for me to agree with you. Stop responding to my posts and maybe this thread doesn't end up locked before morning.

That is not what I have been saying. In fact, I very specifically said that the problem existed long before the dot shortage; that has merely exacerbated the issue.

Since your posts are either insulting people or talking about things that have nothing to do with networks, you can stop posting at all in this thread.

lol, their network was pt and thats it, I took NBA Jam my original team to the wl playoffs in s14 or 15 when I was literally the newest agent in pro or wl, all my dots were playmakers and blyn and pt saw all my younger builds and realized they were better than pts dots, so blyn gave me blaze so I would merge with him . Needless to say I won the 1st two wl titles as a oc/dc/ do it all and you have yet to make a wl playoff game, something I did my 1st try in the wl back when I had the youngest team and I had to recruit from the bottom of the barrel

The "dot shortage" always existed, but moreso as an "elite dot shortage" where very few of the best dots ever hit the open market. Its the same concept and is the result of not having enough people who know how to make great dots. Try to keep up.

I just think it's boring for the agents of DS to have 3-6 WL teams every season. There are no stakes. You have 3-4 teams in the playoffs every season and then if a team loses you say you don't care because you have 2 others to make the next round. It's a numbers game and you don't really get interested or attached until only 1 team is left in the playoffs then the DS people can rally behind and get invested in that team. Seems like it would be a lot more fun if they just have 1-2 teams and let the rest of their dots go throughout Pro/WL to other teams (obviously keeping the best 55-110 for their teams.

Is anyone impressed when DS wins a title or that they've won 5? If you cloned whatever team bhall and ee were coordinating that season 3 times every playoffs or even had 4 dpride teams each playoffs, wouldn't they probably have 5 titles as well? Seems boring to me. If that's what they want to do that's fine and obviously it is the most successful strategy to implement provided you have the coordinators and money to spend building all those dots. If Cav, Taut, and KoB combined their dotbuilding money and then hired out bhall, jt, ee, jd to coordinate a few teams teams then we could officially have 2 networks control all of WL just as bort intended

But yea, the PLFT/Marketplace has been really rough the past 4-5 seasons. Or maybe it was all in my head that 8 seasons ago there were a bunch of good dots available

Funny i have been trying to just DC 1 team for the last 4-5 seasons, but finding good coordinators is harder than finding decent dots. There are a bunch of good pro teams with dots that have great builds that are only missing great coordinators to be WL title contenders.

Also, as i have said before coordinating 1-2 teams is much easier than 4-5 for top coordinators. Would love to give a newbie a chance but seeing a good team get demoted when you know they are good enough to stay at the highest level is difficult to watch happen..

I agree and is why i totally don't blame DS for wanting to have 6 WL teams every season (plus it just increases your odds for when playoffs become toss ups). It's encouraging that Bort/Catch acknowledge this as a problem based on their interest in presets and this offseason's AI contest. The DC side of it will be somewhat useless since they won't allow custom plays but at least they see it as an issue to be addressed. Hopefully, AIs, progression controlling and d plays will become more user friendly in the future allowing for more coordinators to grow and develop

Its his MO. Usually if you have a bandwagon, people want to jump on. He actively jumps on, tells everyone they're retarded, then tries to take it over as his point altogether. Pretty impressive really!

It's a dot problem cuz there are no new users

It's a coordinator problem cuz you all suck. Or the game is too bloody complicated to grasp before frustration sets in. Or you suck

I gave you first crack at my HB after you posted that you needed one and you couldn't even be bothered to answer.

The market isn't going to net you anything better.

I've been playing GLB close to a year and a half now and I've got dots on a somewhat "Network" team and I've had dots not on "network" teams. I think the biggest problem is the lack of damns given by a majority of owners and coordinators outside of network format for your dot. I have had dots on teams where mine was built quite a bit better than the owners and coordinators dots and yet my dot seemed to not really get a chance while everything was funneled through their dots.

In networks, there is trust built within the network. Non-network owners and coordinators just make it difficult to trust them and that's why I generally don't go outside of my little network anymore.

Fix the damns and fair play, networks will be less of a factor.
