and doesn't every CB (excluding HHs of course) in WL have 160 spd?
i mean, i thought that was the point of making a RB this fast.
if WL is not full of 160 spd CBs than it don't seem it be necessary
for a RB to get his speed as high as this guy here

Fast yes, but stat-wise doesnt look very strong. I havent been here in roughly 10 seasons so i dont know what exactly has changed in the game algos and what not.

My HB between S1 and S10 doesnt have ANY skill over 100 actually and he averaged better stats in the best leagues at the time. Rushed for over 2000 yards in 5 out of 10 seasons (max was 3700 yards) and had less than 100 receiving yards only ONCE in his career (94 yards), had 50+ TD seasons 3 times. All 10 seasons my HB played with very strong QBs (including my own QB) which IMO was a total package QB.

the dif is, the CB is set up on the same line as the WR, assigned to cover him.
thats not at all the case with a RB sprinting to the endzone.

now, im not trying to claim the RB wasnt running faster than the CB on this play.
my point was, even at the same speed, the CB couldn't have caught up-
look he might have had a 3 or 4 yard head start towards the EZ-
but he's over 10 yards to his left and he has to make up also.
the geometry just doesn't work out. in this case the CB would have had to be
faster to catch him. not that i am at all disputing that the HB is running faster here anyhow.
just that if the CB has to catch someone basically from behind and be faster to do it
its not really fair to say 'he got beat', even if he'd have caught a slower player-
he was never really in position to make the play in this case.

i wouldnt say this is a case of the CB got 'beat'-
it was a case of 'he found daylight and they are never going to catch him'
again, its just terminology

So to sum this up, if the RB out performed the CB, the CB got beat.

No... what it means is we're somehow playing on Canadian Football fields instead of the U.S. size ones.

A lot has changed bro, past success and past builds are almost completely irrelevant to the game as it exists today. Defensive dots are a LOT better.

He was built half for speed and half to break tackles. He was also built to be a rusher and a receiver. I wanted to build the first player to have 1000+ rush and 1000+ receiving yards in the same season in top leagues. I only managed 2000 to 3700 rush yards and 300 to 600 receiving yards

Yeah probably. But as complicated this game is, i think less conventional builds can have success also. This is what i will try to prove.

Back in S1 to S10 you didn't see dots with any attributes over 100 with equipment. Today you have to have one (sometimes two) attributes over 100 natural. You're comparing apples and oranges.

By season 10 you certainly did. Before that was all pre-plateau dots

I miss DE's old speed/str/agil majors To get 116 base speed he must've cut a ton of corners. I managed to get a 109 base 4 aeq guy who was decent but the minors weren't really where I'd like and SAs were meh.

Yeah, I guess it was a bit of an exaggeration. Either that or I had forgotten how we built dots 3 and a half years ago.
