And still, owners will sell during the season.

Then GLB should lock the rosters for the season and not give a flex refund for that season and they would have less in season sales. This still has nothing to do with the D Leagues, people like to test different builds in the D leagues or as another person said to build farm players. The sim is different at different levels so it makes sense to have a test league at all levels.

With the way the SIM has changed some teams build different types of players as a just in case, its easier on them to store them in the D leagues rather than get stuck with a crappy owner.

If you move all the CPU teams to the lowest levels people could still sign with them instead of D-leagues and they won't be hurting anyone. Plus why test different builds against crappy CPU? If you really want to see how they work, do it against actual competition.

Yeah i think the "testing" players out in the cpu leagues is a weak bs excuse. Players do better against equal competition, not cpu players, and everyone know what atts to build first.

-1 to this, I have been on many crappy teams and there needs to be a place where players can go to get away from them. I am not currently on a d-league team but have used them very effectively to find the right team that suits me. I just wait until the right offer comes along. The reason so many human teams are hard to fill is due to bad recruiting or that they are just plain bad teams. If an owner can't fill out their roster with all the available dots out there they should look to blame themselves and find out why people are not signing with them, as opposed to blaming the d-leagues.

omg

A DUDE THAT HAS RECENTLY SIGNED UP SAYING OWNERS SUCK. IT CANT BE BECAUSE YOUR DOTS SUCK AND YOU DONT HAVE THE FIRST CLUE ABOUT THIS GAME.

Seriously, you are clueless. Had you been around when this game didn't suck dick you might know what you're talking about. There aren't any recruits to sign now. Back in the day there where agents that actually had to get off their ass and find a team.

You clearly have anger management issues, but seriously though I am not so much saying that the owners of bad teams suck but there are some people that have no business running a team on any level and I include myself to be on this list as well. Most who play this game are looking to build up their stats or be on a winning competitive team and if an owner can't reasonably offer at least one of those things than they shouldn't get upset that people won't sign with them. If you want players than you have to build up a winning reputation and I have given owners chances to do that by signing with them but things did not go as planned. When I signed my players on to already successful teams, those teams continued to be successful and some even improved with my players. That tells me that as an owner you know how to run a team or you don't. That is not to say that an owner can't improve but again some people can an some can't.

You know, i have been here for four years, never been on a shitty team, with an agent that went inactive, if you do a little research, and I mean, seeing when they joined, if they are an avid forum poster, ect. ect. then you will never have issues.

Okay, maybe I went a bit overboard. You have to understand that owners and coordinators put a ton of time into this game to make it an enjoyable experience for themselves and everyone with their team. Yes, there are some bad owners, but 95% of the time when there is an issue between an owner and an agent it's due to the agent not having even remotely any kind of grasp of this game. Just pure ignorance on the agent's part.

I'm an agent, coordinator, and owner. I die a little each time some jagoff that's never owned or coordinated starts bitching about shit when they've never been in the position of owning/coordinating. Until you've done both you've only experienced maybe 5-10% of this game.

You are right I really don't know all that goes into owning or coordinating for a team but I did run a team for a couple of seasons when I first started playing GLB. From that experience I at least got a taste of what it is like and quickly realized that I have no business ever doing that again. That is what I mean when I say that there are those who can successfully manage teams and those who can't. I do understand that there are plenty of clueless agents out there but I have experienced a few clueless owners myself. As I said before I have given some owners the benefit of the doubt even playing with one team for five or six straight seasons, just hoping we can at least make a conference championship game, but I don't think we ever did. There was even a time where I was trying to talk to an owner about basic things that any owner or player should know but I had to explain them to him. There have even been other times where I joined teams mid season and the owner forgets to put me on the depth chart and I lose a couple of games because of it and I know things like that can happen but I would like to think that an owner who knows what he is doing wouldn't do that very often. I know I am rambling on now but these are all reasons why we need a d-league because non of these things happen with a CPU owner, in an all CPU owned league. I understand owners put in far more time and effort into this game and in some cases money and I am not trying to disrespect any owner at least on purpose. All I am saying is, if you are not getting the talent you would like to have on your team, you should maybe look at how you are doing as an owner first before you go and say that it is the d-leagues fault that you can't fill your roster.
